I guess this runs more to the ethics side really.

I've always had a taste for unusaul music, I listen to almost every genre. So I cover a broad sprectrum of "one hit wonders"

My question, if the music label refuses to make a copy of a song availiable to the public, and the "radio" industry refuses to play it, would you consider it unethical for a person to spend hours, even days to find a copy online, then download it and make "illegal" copies for their personal use?

Yesterday someone ran my cat over and left him on the road for my kids to find. He was only just let outside and very much a part of out family.

People speed up and down our road and the sign that said to slow down because kids were playing was taken down. The city put a speed bump in. The drivers go over the speed bump and fly down the road to the stop sign. I am afraid that one of my kids will be next.

This is in Light of The Legal Ruling of Corporate Responsibility for Shareholders and Management in Relation to Train Crashes. As The Actual People Responsible for The Establishment of Such Companies Can Ministers avoid Charges of Culpability or Does Justice and Society not Have The Right To Judge Them on The Ultimate Responsibility For any Deaths Caused. Witness Churchill`s Self Condemation in Regards to The Dardanelles Disaster or John Nott`s Attempt at Resignation in Regards To The Falkland Islands War In That if He Had Not Diverted The Patrol Ship Endurance Argentina would Never Have Invaded South Georgia

I think the music companies and / or the media are trying to demonize their own customers.

In legal terms, what has murder and robbery on the high seas (ie Piracy) got to do with copyright infringement?

I think a high court judge would agree that someone found guilty of downloading copyrighted material from the internet would get in trouble for copyright infrindgement... but not theft.

Watch out the little © will report you to record compnies for being a pirate ! Eye Eye me harties...

In France for example, when there is something wrong with the government they always protest wether the reason was their payements, retirement, animals etc.It is pretty much the same in other developed countries over the world. But please tell me,are there any kind of reactions at the starting of the pedophile party in Amsterdam? Why isn't anybody doing something?
I don't want to live in the world where pedophiles will walk freely and do harm to children,do you?
I don't want to find myself 10 years later in a world where pedophiles will talk how they were treated badly or put in prison for no good reason?
And one more thing;I think that there should be a death penalty for pedophiles because they will always remain what they are (scumbags,I would like to use a harder word but Yahoo wouldn't let me) and they will do it again.
Take the case in Belgium, the pedophile was set free after only 2 years(!!!) and he was given a brand new apartment and money (he didn't have to work). He killed again

The money received as corruption is again utilized in the same society. Then how it can adversely effect the economic cycle of a country. I think it cannot.

I have just found out that they do not have my records, they say they where sent somewhere else but my doctors service said that if I wanted to pick up my records they would be at the new location. This happened in Cincinnati, Ohio. Does anyone know if there is any case law in Ohio that covers matters like this as far as recourse goes? This represents my whole medical history, 55 years.

Today, two men are facing charges of "using words likely to incite racial hatred" for daring to criticise the failed experiment of multiculturalism, and describing the religion of Islam as a “wicked faith”; a charge which seems utterly ludicrous in the context of all that has been perpetrated in the name of Allah at home and abroad in recent years, never mind the centuries of conflict and bloodshed in the Middle East, North Africa, Iberia and the Balkans.

For daring to stand up and tell the truth about the threat in our midst the two accused could face up to seven years in prison in a court in a supposed western democracy where “the truth is no defence" (the law states that "the truth is no defence" when charged with race related "crimes").

Part of their alleged "crime" was to state the risk of a possible terrorist attack by asylum seekers and 2nd generation Muslims. These words were proved true by the 7/7 bomb attacks in London last year.

What is your opinion?

my house alarm was not working, so we called a serviceman fr a security company to fix it. He jus changed a battery and left, the alarm remained malfunctioning. So we called them for the 2nd time to fix it. The 2nd serviceman repaired it sucessfully by changing a siren. Last wk they sent the bill stated that we need to pay for both the services. It's not fair to ask us to pay all of it when they did not do their job at the first time. We contacted them about this matter, still they insisted us to pay the whole amout and warned if the amout s not paid within 7days, they ll forward it to their Debt collection agency for recovery. What can I do to solve this problem?

It has been said that the purpose of the prison system is 4 fold: to isolate danger from society, to rehabilitate, to punish, to deter future offenders. Are all of these goals relevent? Is our current system working towards all of these goals or just concentrating on some?

Salvage is a dealer in reclaimed building materials. He learned from the 'Planning notices' in the local paper that Bill Derr proposes to renovate an historian barn in the locality, using reclaimed facing bricks traditionally used in the vicinity. salvage has several thousand suitable 2nd hand bricks of the type required in his yard. salvage sent a fax to Bill Derr, which read "I can offer several thousand 2nd hand facing bricks suitable for your needs at £400 per thousand." Bill Derr faxed in reply "I will take four thousand. Need delivery in 1 load by monday nxt week."
Salvage then wrote: "thank you for ur fax, which is recieving our attention"

Advise Bill Derr as to the legal position on each of the following alternative assumptions:
1) Salvage packed the bricks and loaded them on a lorry for delivery to Bill, but b4 the van set out Bill phoned to say he no longer needed the bricks.
2) Salvage failed to deliver any bricks to Bill

As i was passing through an intersection with a green light, a car on the adjacent street ran the red light and hit the passenger side of my car. I called the police & they refused to come to the scene due to the fact that there wasnt any injuries. I only have liability coverage & my insurance company isn't helping me prove that he is at fault. I don't know how i can prove that he ran the red light, if you have any ideas or you have been in a similar situation please help me out.Thanks.
