It's america, you can sue anybody for anything. it doesn't make sense that your doctor refuses your demand because of your potential to produce at a young age, maybe there are important health issues behind it so i would look deeper into it before i jump to the conclusion that the doctor is discriminating against you. talk to the doctor to get a legitimate response then decide rather or not it is an ideal response then start your lawsuit, because the information so far seems reasonable for a lawsuit.

Why does discrimination come into play here? First of all, at that young of an age, believe it or not, somewhere down the line you could change your mind; it's been known to happen many many times. So find another doctor if you're that serious. Everybody now a days are sue-crazy. What would you sue him for anyway? I had a friend who had her tubes tied at a very young age, later re-married, and then had it reversed. She has another little girl now.

The doctor can do anything he wants. Maybe he sensed something in you. Maybe he was afraid if he did the surgery you would sue him a year later because you were too young. Geesh I hope this isn't a serious question. It's sue happy people that are running the cost of health care through the roof. Try working for a living.

i will by no potential have infants. interior the rather uncommon journey that I do get ever get pregnant i does no longer be waiting to hold previous around 3 month with the aid of a unusual and wonderful subject with my womb collapsing (no longer prolapsed, thoroughly collapsed) which potential there is not any room for a new child to strengthen with the aid of that's place (it shop shifting too with the aid of fact that's collapsed). I even have horrendous problems with my sessions to the factor my boyfriend has rushed my scientific institution countless cases with the aid of fact I even have been actually screaming in soreness and paintings had to call an ambulance once I handed out with the soreness. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, the medical doctors won't provide me hysterectomy or a sterilisation as i'm in basic terms 26 and have not yet had infants, even nonetheless they are completely conscious that i will't have them! Dr's recently would desire to cover their owns backs with all those regulation suits happening and that i think of that that's in basic terms in very severe circumstances that they'll sterilise somebody below 30 and it had to be much greater severe circumstances in case you're childless. How would that's in case you have been sterilised and 5 years away then you pick which you do no longer desire a new child in spite of everything (i understand you reported you will no longer yet you rather by no potential understand). What would you do then? in all probability sue the wellness care professional for removing your decision once you have been youthful and silly. detrimental wellness care professional would be unable to win. yet please do no longer sue your wellness care professional. they are below adequate tension and the wellness provider could do without yet another ridiculous declare on their already stretched materials. Why do no longer you in basic terms get the beginning control inplants on your arm and use a condom too. That way you will no longer get pregnant.

You probably WILL change your mind when you're older. It doesn't matter how strongly you believe what you believe now. Things have a way of changing.
By the way, 10lbs is NOT an ordinary weight for a newborn baby. That's a few pounds heavier than average.
You don't want to give birth? DON'T HAVE SEX. Or, use protection.

Why blame the doctor?
Perhaps he has his own set of values.
How is that discrimination?
In order to sue someone, you must have suffered some kind of loss or damage. Other than being a little pissed-off, you have not suffered at all.
Get over it. Move on. Find a new doctor.

The doctor is trying to shield himself from potential liability if you later decide you want kids. Try contacting Planned Parenthood. I know they do vasectomies, I'm not sure about tubals.

Well I guess you havent ben with the right man yet - heheh, wink wink. Sorry just kidding. Maybe you should just go to another doctor. I think the law states that any business has the right to refuse service to anyone they want.

No. The doctor doesn't have to perform a non-emergency operation on you, just because you want it.

It would be easier to find another doctor to do it than spend time in court.
