I have called 2 companies and talked to 6 cust. reps. and not ONE of them spoke english well enough for me to understand them!!! I don't care if they came here from a different country but why is it WE have to speak/learn a different language in order to get a good job but they don't?! Whats wrong with this picture??? And no I am not racist, I have every cult. in my family, and yes I realize that this is what it sounds like but come on!!! Everyone wants to be fair but it really burns when we have to pay taxes on stuff and they "people that float or cross the border" get to run around in fancy cars/trucks/SUV and fancy jewlrey working the same jobs we do but hey guess what!!! We pay taxes and they don't!! We are working our butts off too and still struggling to make ends meet, but let's make life easier for them????~and yes I am pissed!!!

In this case, Company X is a T1 provider with which I have had countless connection issues. I have swicthed providers, but Company X is seeking to charge me an outrageous cancellation fee. Therefore it is my opinion that Company X sucks and I would like to let others know in the form of a large poster that may or may not display their logo. My question is, would such a statement be considered free speach or could I be guilty of libel or illegally using a company's logo?

I brought charges against someone several years ago, and he's now in prison. However, I've had something come up and I need a copy of the transcript of the trial. How do I obtain a copy of the transcript?

Also, is it possible to recieve victims' benefits (counseling, etc.) years after the fact? I was in the military at the time, and living out of state. The trial was approximately 10 years ago.

I was awarded £2100/month maintenance by the court in Ancillary Relief. My husband later quite his good paying job, and took a small (low paying) teaching job in Far East. Our children are all grown-up and on their own, so that is not an issue. He has kept part ownership in a flat in the UK, has a small pension in UK, but otherwise moved all his money to Far East.

I do not want to pay a big solicitor bill to find out I can't do anything. Is there anything I could do? Has anyone been in this situation before?

I have to pay my neighbor some money because her tree was encroaching into my property. I had asked my neighbor to remove the tree when I bought the property 4+years ago when the tree was not on my property. Know due to CA law I have to pay for part tree being removed. Should I ask the judge for a re-trail? I am afraid that the judge might ask me to pay for more if I ask for a re-trail. Any suggestions?

It was with great expectations I opened up Bill O'Reilly's latest opus "Culture Warrior". While I don't agree with eveything Mr. O'Reilly said, I found quite a few of his arguments compelling. Redistribution of wealth being one of these. I am not rich. I work for a non-profit writing grants so we may continue to help single parent families with children. I find the idea of redistribution of wealth anti-American and repulsive. Here we live in a country where children are told with hard work and a little luck, anything is possible. The doctrine of Redistribution of wealth strike me as idiotic. Save for a few people, Bill Gates, George Soros (Wow, I gave credit to Soros) the vast majority of wealthy people have no intention of giving up what is in many cases illegally gotten wealth. The Kennedys wealth came from bootlegging. My question to the S-P's is do you really want women wearing burkas, do we want a theocracy run by mullahs.

He has to register as a sex offender. I'm confused! is it wrong for him to recide in the home with his mentally disabled, is the system failing her? someone please answer me!

I have always thought its funny when you watch cops or something and they arrest someone and then you see like some fat trashy lady come out of nowhere and start yelling "I know the law! You can't do that!" like she picked up a Harvard education while working the Mcdonald's drive thru. Also everyone knows one person like this...that person that threatens to sue for everything because they think their rights are being violated.

Ok I used to go out with someone my freshman and sophomore year. We broke up over the summer and I dated someone else we just broke up a couple weeks ago and I'm going back out with the person I used to be with. I know it's kind of confusing but now the guy I went out with over the summer is pissed off and he's threatening to go to the cops because I'm 17 and my boyfriend just turned 18. Our parents obviously know we're together we were high school sweethearts so we have parental consent. We're only a year apart but because he just turned 18 now can my ex actually get us in trouble. How does the law work with stuff like that? We havn't had sex or anything, what does the law all say about this?

There are 50 holes in the walls and every door is broken and kicked in. What can I do to these people short of hiring a lawyer? The lawyer costs $1000 just to start. Too expensive. They have moved 2 doors down and laugh at me when I pass. Small claims court says I have the burden of discovery..I have to follow them to serve them papers and garnish wages I have to have addresses and places of employment. Don't I have any rights? This was a criminal act and the law says it's civil.
