If he was deported because he was an illegal immigrant, as far as I know there is no statute of limitations on that. People who are in the country temporarily can also be deported if they commit crimes.

You really need to find an attorney who specializes in immigration/deportation issues.

You also need to consider that he is a grown up and should be looking into handling his own situation.

(I hope you weren't in a coma because of something he did because if that's the case you should just leave him wherever he is.)

First of all, not to be mean but if he was beating you...why would you want him back?? It's women like that who don't stand up for themselves and get their own lives back that make us seem like the "weaker" sex! I know it's hard to leave someone you "love" but since he's gone now...perhaps it's just time to move on and keep him out of your life. They have shelters/centers for women and children who were victims of abuse. If you really want him back that badly then either move to Mexico to be with him then that way you can live "happily ever after" in your own little world or hire a lawyer and see what they can do for you. Best of luck and be careful what you wish for.

absolutely everyone who isn't a citizen could be deported regardless of if or no longer they're married or no longer. interior the case of your husband, regardless of if or no longer he qualifies to get a green card relies upon upon the character of his unlawful alien status. If he entered the rustic without inspection, then being married to you will not help him in any respect. No unlawful alien who entered without inspection can normalize his status mutually as he's residing interior the U. S.. The regulation demands that he return to his u . s . of beginning place previously any immigration technique can initiate. If he's a few style of visa overstayer, then there ought to be a raffle for him to swap status based upon situations. What do you propose via "we don't have a green card?" Does that propose which you do not have felony status the two?

I'm not quite sure as to why you'd want him back seeing how destructive your relationship is, it can't be good for the children, but to each his own.
I don't know if this helps but, I did see an application on line called: Application for re-entry after deportation. You might want to look into that.

You could always take the kids and go to Mexico to be with him. Maybe they will handle it different the next time he beats up on you and puts you in a coma.

I HEAR THE SAME STORY ALL THE TIME. THE POLICE DID THIS. THE POLICE DID THAT. YOU DID IT. YOU HAD HIM ARRESTED THEN YOU WANTED HIM TO BEAT YOU A LITTLE MORE. HE DESERVES TO GET DEPORTED. THEY SHOULD HAVE THROWN YOU OUT TOO.
