It was with great expectations I opened up Bill O'Reilly's latest opus "Culture Warrior". While I don't agree with eveything Mr. O'Reilly said, I found quite a few of his arguments compelling. Redistribution of wealth being one of these. I am not rich. I work for a non-profit writing grants so we may continue to help single parent families with children. I find the idea of redistribution of wealth anti-American and repulsive. Here we live in a country where children are told with hard work and a little luck, anything is possible. The doctrine of Redistribution of wealth strike me as idiotic. Save for a few people, Bill Gates, George Soros (Wow, I gave credit to Soros) the vast majority of wealthy people have no intention of giving up what is in many cases illegally gotten wealth. The Kennedys wealth came from bootlegging. My question to the S-P's is do you really want women wearing burkas, do we want a theocracy run by mullahs.

Class warfare is wrong and smokes the issuse, and we should help poor people get healthcare, and housing??? Redistrubtion of wealth is wasting people time, because the fact after a certian level of income amount person makes money has little or no effect on a person standards of living.
The society needs to improve healthcare for the poor that is done thru education, and polices cutting costs in wasted resouces like, adminstrative double billing, lack of centralized system of health-records, and gotta have cost containment on social polices like health-care.
Why does average Mexcian in Mexico live to 75 years old and the goverment spends next to nothing on healthcare while Americans live to about 78 it tells you there deadweight in American soical policy.
Gates, Soros earned there money thru creativity and hardwork, and goverment should not take that money earned.

The middle class is greedier than the wealthy I concluded overtime beucase these people want Cadallic of education for there Child for free, but there kids could not even point on the map on where they live or know how to use a measuing cup.

We lack total common sense in regrads to social policy, and education policy.
Finally, money is not asnwer for everything in life having a $100 billion dollars does make your 32000 times happier than the person with making $20,000 a year..
No, making 32,000 times more or a 1000 times more after a certian income doesnt make much difference in happiness its called diminishing returns. Finally, billionares can be meth users as much person making $20,000 a year both can be unhappy suidical or homidical. Yet, both can be just as happy making trading places in wealth. Family, freinds, neighbours, sex is what makes people happy long-term not so much money after the basics are covered.
Sick of wealthy bein used for the scape-goat where the respondbility falls to us other 98% in the America, Austraila, or the world.

I would ask you this question. As each year passes in this country do you think the statement "regardless of how you started out, with hard work you can achieve anything" becomes more or less true?

If, like me, you see us sliding into a society of haves and have-nots and each year it is harder for middle class kids to get a good education and each year more and more of the millionaries were born that way, rather than working for it, then you should oppose people like Bill O'Rielly and the conservatives and vote for candidates who promote more progressive views, so that some day you can tell your grandkids, "if you work hard you will succeed so matter how you started out," and it will be absolutely true.

Not an "SP," but I'm thinking those Muslims don't care much for gay marriage.
