My boss told me that anyone that recieves a ticket going over 20 mph is automatically resulted as a felony? is that true?

In the state of missouri you CAN BE charged with attepmted manslaughter if you are caught doing 20+ mph over the limit. Doesn't mean you will be but you can. That would have to depend on what state you are in and how you treat the cop I suppose.

In Alabama it is 25 miles over the speed to becaome reckless driving. I don't think it is an actual felony though. Just higher fines and suspended licence.

Yes. It's considered driving recklessly and could go on your record permanently. There's also DUI and DWI's. In Colorado, I thought it was over 25 mph. It's an automatic court date and huge fine. Sometimes they lower it to something else if your record is clean.
