he second most powerful editor at The Washington Times is a white supremacist racist who says blacks are "born genetically 15 to 20 IQ points lower than a white person" and that abortion is necessary "to keep the black and minority population down in this country." His wife, Marian, confirmed this, on the record, in an interview with reporter Max Blumenthal for the Oct. 9 issue of The Nation magazine. Francis B. Coombs Jr., the managing editor of The Washington Times, a major media ally of the Bush administration, is described by multiple newsroom sources in Blumenthal's piece as an unreconstructed "racial nationalist" and a hater of blacks and Jews.
The report documented Fran Coombs' extensive racist comments and abusive, unpopular management style. Several Times employees who attended a party at a Times editor's home in spring 2003 were told by Coombs that, "I would never want to be born black. This would mean that I would be born genetically 15 to 20 IQ points lower than a white p.

Recently I was in my local BANK OF AMERICA and they had a sign that you can send money to Mexico for free, Wow that is nice, but guess what you can NOT send it within the U.S. for free, sounds a little wrong to me, what do you think?

It is upsetting that they (our U.S. government) has already started building the wall, without voters approval, now they need funds to complete the 700 mile wall at the south USA border, so our neighbors and friends can't come and do the dirty work for us? (not to even speak about the fact that the border is over 2000 miles) I think we should have had a vote. It's ALREADY being built, the vote in 2006 is to get more money. I'm pissed, I hope all Americans are too. Ron Couch, Riverside CA.

I posted a question earlier about how some people close to me died while their killers only got 15 years. I know some people don't believe in the death penalty but if a criminal gets life in prison, who do you think is paying for their food and everything else? Does the punishment fit the crime? I don't think so. My cousin got shot and it wasn't one time. Try getting shot PURPOSELY in both your kneecaps with an AK47 and then in your chest while you're walking your gf to her car. Is 15 years right for that crime? My friend was stabbed to death (over 50 times) by her jealous ex bf. He's in prison. I'm not sure what's gonna happen to him. Maybe life in prison? If you commmit a horrendous crime shouldn't you die the same way?

I'm doing a mock trial on the trial of King Louis XVI. I'm the defense, and I was wondernig what would be some good points/documents I could bring up to prove he was innocent? Or to counter what the prosecution might bring up.

Also, why was he tried for treason? What did he do wrong? Besides the fact that he was caught fleeing from his country.

Thank you!

I know of a case where a forteen year old girl has alleged abuse from her mother. The mother has hired a lawyer who claims to represent both the mother and the daughter. This sounds insane to me. Does a minor have the right to have their own representation? Are their any lawyers out there who can tell me?

I need to find a lawyer or two lawyers. We can't afford one but we need one that will help with my fiance's visitation rights for his two boys. It is currently every other weekend and every other holiday, but we live 4 hours away and work every weekend, it wouldn't be fair to his boys. Also his ex wife is being a B***H about allowing the boys to come here for Christmas (and won't let them come for Thanksgiving either). He wants it changed to every other holiday and the FULL summer and we need some help on getting THIS Christmas enforced.

ALso we are trying to pay off some of Michael's debts but the few we are worried about we are wanting to see if we can get a hold of a lawyer that can help with bankruptcy on the few we are worried about (one is $2,000, another is $5,000, and the other is $20,000). Long story on that.

Any advice?

We live in Virginia.

I'm just wondering, because of the following paragraph:

"The page program, which brings young people from around the country to work on Capitol Hill, came under intense scrutiny in 1983, after two lawmakers -- Rep. Gerry Studds, a Massachusetts Democrat, and Rep. Dan Crane, an Illinois Republican -- were censured following their admission they had consensual sexual relationships with 17-year-old pages."

(It came near the end of this article on cnn.com: http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/09/30/foley.quits/index.html )

I just thought people under the age of 18 couldn't have consensual sex.

Basically, I have an $1800 car repair bill. Initially, the guy said he would be willing to take payments....now he is saying he needs the whole amount right away, and on top of that if I don't pay the whole amount he will start charging storage fees. I never signed any papers at all, this was kind of an informal deal, if I just take my other key and go get my car is that legal?

I applied for child support through the Division of Child Support Enforcement (DCSE) at the beginning of July. I haven't heard anything about it...and they won't give me any information when I call.

Does anyone know what could be taking so long? Is there a way to speed up the process? Would I be better off trying to take the father to court than going through DCSE?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much!!
