My parents have had thier home for over twenty five years. We all love it and the five acres it sits on. To sum it up its our "American Dream" They live in a small town that is growing fast. I am scared to death it will be taken away to make room for some highway or other form of progress. What are your thoughts on Imminent Domain?

I believe I have a good case. My former employer just moved into town in January and this privately held company that is pretty big and has operations all over USA and Phillipenes and England did not disclose brokerage fees on 401 (k) account. I want a lawyer to sue this company and brokerage company managing 401 (k) on my behalf and all the thousands of employess that have filtered through this sweatshop (without the sweat). I want to make money for bringing such a windfall to the attorney's attention. How do I do this? What approach should I take? I have the proof in the documentation provided by brokerage company that fees were never disclosed and HR rep with employer admits she didn't know exact cost of fee.

I have a permit for the state of Minnesota, and another permit for the state of Florida ( about 30 states) to carry a firearm of my choice. I do carry quit a bit. I also help teach A permit to carry class in Minnesota. An eight hour class that teaches the rules, regulations, and dangers of carrying a sidearm. I would like to know what you think. Buy the way there are to diffrent kids of "carry". In Minnesota it's a "carry" permit. In Florida it's a concial and carry permit. In Minnesota we don't have to conceal our firearm, but it is recomended. how do you feel about carrying a sidearm for your protection and your famileys protection???

At my work, our parking lot is shared with a carpet company that always has big trucks coming in. Sometimes however, an oversized truck backs in and blocks all of our cars in the lot. Usually it is not a problem, and it never used to happen that much. Lately however they have blocked us in about 4 out of 5 days a week when it is time to leave work. I have gone over politely and asked if they can let us know when the trucks come in so we can move our cars, they say they won't. When I ask how long a truck is there for, they will not give me any kind of answer and are quite rude. Lately I have to run right after work to pick up my baby at daycare. I do not have the luxury of being able to wait for 30 minutes for the truck to move. They also will not pull out for 1 minute and let us pass like we've asked.
What are my options? Is there anything legally I can do? Are trucks allowed to just block off cars whenever they have to?
Keep in mind that the other company is uncooperative.

Did anyone else see Oprah yesterday? I coudnt believe there is acutally a legal association for pediphiles. I got curious and looked up their website, they acuatlly have "testimonials" from boys as young as 9 saying how they support the association and other things that im not going to repeat.... ewww. Anyways dont you think it should be illegal for these people to operate a website condoning and encouraging sex with children?

My friend who is moving to New York at Christmas wants to stay for a couple of months and do temping work tp clear some debts before he leaves. Because I am disabled my rent is paid by housing benefit. If he uses my address with the temping agency will this address pop-up on the NI database, and can they have carte blanche access to it??? eg am I screwed?!

My son is on bail and is represented by a solicitor, however my friend has told me to hire a barrister instead as they have much more experience. Is this true? If so, is there much difference? I would appreciate all the help i can get.
