I got curious and looked up their website, they acuatlly have "testimonials" from boys as young as 9 saying how they support the association and other things that im not going to repeat.... ewww. Anyways dont you think it should be illegal for these people to operate a website condoning and encouraging sex with children?

This is a great example of the so called "freedom" that our morally declining society has created. It will never end until we get back to the principles this country was built upon.

I watched it yesterday, and I am proud to say that I am an overprotective parent. It just creeps me out while we are shopping and strange men rub my kids head or back (acting like they are admiring how cute they are). While I don't yell, "Keep your hands off of my babies," my insides are screaming, "Ahhhh." In the back of my mind, I am wondering if any of these people are fantasizing about them. What they don't know is that I am ready for I fight. I do not take my eyes off of them. They are with me at all times, and I will give my life before anyone touches my babies inappropriately.

This country is so messed up. Nambla is not illegal because they don't promote illegal acts. What does any sane person think? They agree with Oprah and all of the other people in the world who are not sick perverts. There is no argument in the world that makes this right. At least now, they have been exposed. Everyone has the appropriate (non-sexual) love for children, be aware. These wackos are out there. They look normal. We are the eyes and ears and protection for them. Don't be gullible. Protect their lives as you would your own.

Yeah right! Can anybody prove that 9-year-old boys are really writing these testimonials of their own free will? I totally agree that the association promotes illegal activity and should be put out of business. You don't see the National Association of Murders and Repeat Offenders, do you? NO! Because it wouldn't be allowed to exist in that form. Why the pedophile group then?

I didn't see Oprahs' show, so I cannot fully comment on what was discussed.
The fact is, there are a lot of sick f*cks out there with very perverse ideas of what it means to live in America and all its rights & priviledges.

On one hand, I'd rather not give publicity to such groups, on the other hand, maybe it be best that the larger population be aware that there are sick people looking to promote unhealthy lifestyles.

Children (even those who are arriving at the age of 18) do not have the experience to fully comprehend the significance of sexual relations...ESPECIALLY when it involves an adult.

It depends on us to force our elected officials into action.
There are ways to write laws which do not violate personal freedoms.
And after such laws are written, it is again, up to us to make sure local law agencies enforce those laws.

There is all kinds of stuff like that on the Internet.

And look how long Warren Jeffs was able to perpetuate his church-supported child "marriages".

Religion is commonly an excuse, although NAMBLA hasn't been trying it. Perhaps it would be less successful for pederasts than others. But the late Rev. David Berg made adolescent, if not pre-pubescent, sex into an elaborate religion. See the recovery stories at http://www.xfamily.org and http://www.movingon.org

As a gay guy and make sure i hit upon NAMBLA repugnant, vile and sickening. Paedophiles are vile creatures who prey on innocence. As suggested through yet another, minors can not supply legal consent so how can the ACLU look after them? If the ACLU is protecting them, i in my view can not comprehend why. I also do not comprehend how they could live to tell the tale. right here in Canada they are labeled as an unlawful company and are barred. regrettably that does no longer forestall them from assembly on line or clandestinely yet a minimum of if stuck they are convicted. sick, only sick. As for the liberty of speech undertaking, i can not argue hostile to that in spite of the indisputable fact that it nevertheless strikes a primal twine with regard to toddlers. from time to time you should make your ideas up how far you're waiting to flow i wager.

the one thing, that is great about pedophiles having their own website is this: THEY CAN BE TRACKED. I have wondered in recent months after so many Dateline specials about sexual predators, if the population in America has become more degenerate or if maybe we as a society have allowed 1 too many a minority exercise their right to free speech.

The Republican party tried to get rid of NAMBLA but the ACLU and the Democrats sued to keep it in operation claiming free speech.

Not that this will answer your question, but if you think about it, things such as this are a testimonial for our decaying society.
I think you are asking two questions here. Is it legal ? Is it moral?
I would say legal yes, moral, absolutely not.
You decide !!!!!
