My Uncle aged 60 has a syst in the tail part of pancreas. He is getting pain for few minutes after taking food.Doctors are saying that if the pain is intolerable, he can be operated. We are worried about the operation, because people are telling that pancreas surgery is risky. Please give your opinion

it feels like there is a lump at the bottom back of my throat!! its not painfull but i can feel it! it doesnt hurt to swallow or anything its been there for a few days but it comes and goes! does any one know what this is? should i go see a docter??

I'm writing a novel set in the London East End in the 1890's. I've got a situation where one of my characters sells an embroidered silk purse she has been given to an aquaintance from the West End... how much would she sell it for? I though a guinea? I'm planning on getting a budgie this weekend, but I'm not sure if I should get one or two. I know they're social birds, and while I'll interact with him as much as possible the house is empty most days of the week. Should I get two instead of one so they can chat to each other while everyone is out? Would that limit the level of socialisation that'd have with me? I've bought a cage big enough for two, so space isn't a problem.

My fiancé always wants to just stay at home but every weekend he no problem to go with he’s mates and tell me he just wants to hang out with he’s mates but he hasn’t done anything with me. i bought a TomTom off of ebay.... but cant get it to switch on! when i plug it in, the green LED light comes on, but when i press, or press and hold the power button........ nothing happens!
