Okay I know this guy who stole blank checks from his mom he filled out some $300 worth of checks and cashed them. But he got his girlfriend to fill out the first one for $100 because he didnt know how to fill out a check. She filled it out then he left and supposedly cashed it at a later time. Could she be charged with anything b/c she filled it out and signed it in his moms name?

This all happened in Georgia.

I am so mad because I read in the daily newspaper that had an official spokesperson from the state prison saying, "their deaths should be as painless as possible." WTF? Somehow two prison workers mixed up the wrong drugs together for the lethal injection(they had no medical background) and the consequence? the inmate "probably went through severe pain". *Rolls her eyes* Who the hell cares? One guy kidnapped, tortured, and killed a girl...don't they DESERVE to feel the same pain they put that poor soul through??? They did what they did, they deserve the same fate of style! The prisoners are qualified to be put on death row...how can they still care about their well being just a few seconds before they die? I think those who "kill" should be "killed" the same way or feel as MUCH PAIN AS POSSIBLE!!! Sorry. :)

My financial means are limited, and there were two cases ruled in the same manner. (same district two different court houses) My parents manipulated the legal system for their own personal gain. By then filing in two different court houses to serve their one purpose, I wouldn't know where to begin.

First off, I never touched her, its a harassment one in wisconsin, I went to her place after we had a nasty argument, where she said I would never know any information till the baby is born, and we all know miscarriages happen, I just want to know pregnancy details and leave her alone. Previous incidents include me going to her mother's to talk with her, or when she went to her mom's work, I went there to talk, I never threatened harm, im guilty of being impatient and wanting to resolve conflict, but these got thrown in my face in court as stalking. We broke up several times and got back together, her friends wrote letters saying I was parked outside of her place, when inreality I was in her apartment and she was afraid to tell her friends we were still sleeping together. Her friend said she witnessed me being physical when my ex denied it to her and me. I feel like I got jobbed,I was an *** during the arguments and said hurtful things, but she did to, do I have a leg to stand on?

My stepfather and mother, recently sued my husband and I (daughter), under false pretenses. The complaint filed contained stories of lies. Their testimony was based on lies, yet the court excepted this as sufficient evidence to rule against us. The court would'nt even considered reviewing the hard evidence (notorized documents, police reports, witnesses etc.). The court based it's judement under the "Bad Daughter" rule book. If the parents say it's true it must be. WRONG! I am 39yrs old, I believe I was served a Big Cup of Predjudice .

How do you think about the law "No Alcohol Under The Age Of 21"? In Germany 16 years old can buy beer and cigarettes and 18 years old can buy Whiskey. I think that 18 is the right age. You are old enough to know what you do. In my opinion 18 years old are adults not minors. The 21 age limit for casinos and alcohol is ridiculous. But 18 years old can buy unhealthy tobacco, porno and be a naked at Playboy and be a nude. Why isn't this only for 21 olds allowed?! And the rule "Show your ID card if you appear under the age of 40 if you want to buy tobacco or alcohol." You have to prove your age until you have gray hair. I've never found such stupid law like this one, adults are treated like little children.

Is this law everywhere in the USA?

...OK OK, I am re-asking this question because of the barrage of uninformed and downright ignorant responses I received a minute ago.
First of all, yes, automatic weapons are civilian-legal under federal BATF laws. You have to pay a $200 one-time tax, get your local police chief to vouch for you, and get permission from the BATF, then purchase them through a Class III firearms dealer. And it has to be legal in your state. You DO NOT need any special license, and of course you can't be a fugitive, felon, or escapee from a mental ward, but the same goes for purchasing any gun. I know several people who own such LEGAL full-auto weapons, (which is why I ask this question), and they're a big hit at the range of course. It iritates me that hardly anyone knows their rights these days...
*Phew* OK so on with the dang question, let's say I have met all these conditions, and I am in my own home, and somebody smashes a window, climbs in, and threatens to stab my wife with a knife...ok?

Before you say no, think about this fictional scenario:

"How to kill an Amish person in three easy steps."
are they right or wrong?

I purchased an item from a retail store that looked defective and was not as expected when it arrived. When I told that to the salesperson they actually tried to physically "fix" it changing the appearance of it somewhat. Am I responsible to take this item? I did not realize it was a "special purchase". Signs are in the store that I did not see when I purchased. Filed complaint with BBB and now being harrassed by merchant by phone nasty phone messages. Three in
a two week time period.
