There are no dining chairs, no curtains in the living room, no chairs and table in the balkony, the carpets are filthy, no blankets or pillows.... there is nothing except a sofa, seat and a bed... the landlord said that I should haved for those things before I've rented the flat, and now I have no right to ask for any thing more...

I've just moved in 18 days ago..

Do I have any rights ????

For an employer to work you 4 hours, let you off for 3 hours then have you work for 12 hours in succession?

Isn't it that you can work 16 hours straight through but not have a break inbetween like that?

PLUS, if the employer told the employee they would cover the 4 hours shift but conviently "forgot" and try to say I was a no call, no show

and is it possible i could I talk to a lawyer about it?

doesnt something happen?

like say if a 17 year old had sexual intercourse with a 13 year old, wouldn't there be charges against the 17 year old even though he is a minor (even if the sex was voluntary)?

I've always thought that it was illegal, but is it really?
cause my best friend is having sex voluntarily at 13 and i thought that minor-minor sex was illegal.

can you help me?
is minor-minor sex illegal?

I bought a car last year and my mom co-signed, (i dont have the greatest credit) . She came to my place of work 9-25-06 and took my car stating that since she is on the title, she feels entitled to it. Her car was recently totaled and she thinks because I live with my fiancee i can just use his, (b.s.!!!) I have proof that I have made every car and insurance payment. I went to her house the last 3 days and can't find my car. I told her either she gives it back or pays me the $2,000 iv'e paid into it and takes my name off, and she can have it and make the rest of the payments I am a single mom and cant afford a lot of attorney fees. Can someone please help? Im in tucson, az

I'm really tired of this should someone be able to get married or not. It really doesn't matter. Those who can marry work hard to get out of their vows when divorcing and those who can't act like children not receiving enough attention.

Does anyone really care that anyone else is gay? Does it really matter at all? Isn't this just a ploy by the gay/lesbian lobyists to force the question of approval on everyone? I thought that if you were gay it was natural and if so why would it matter to you that everyone know which direction your particular tastes run? Can we please move on to more important issues like world peace and hunger?

iv noticed that wen teens commit a major crime there usually considered an adult wich means they are matured enough to make a desicion, but wen they have sex with an adult (sex that they wanted, not raped) there considerd a minor an cant make there own desicions .. so basically if a 25 year old guy an 16 year old girl have sex an authorities find out, the girl is cosidered a minor an they guy will go to jail, but if that 16 year old were to shoot an kill she would be considered an adult. Why is this ? is the law in the USA really that corrupted an unfair to were it just decides what it wants wen it wants ? do you think this might end up in courtroom someday an a real criminal or pervert will get off because of this weird confusion in the law ?

It has occurred to me that it is quite convenient for men who create unplanned pregnancies to be advocates of pro-choice.
If men are not also responsible for this unborn child then this argument has nothing to do with men and should be a gender specific debate. So, if women are the only ones with any choice to be made (according to pro-choice advocates) then why isn't it a women's only debate?

And further, if only women get the choice of pregnancy then why is any man responsible for the financial support of this child once it is born? If he doesn't have a say on its gestation and it becomes the property of the woman then his role should be done for good. And then further, only women should be able to get tax credits for children.

But, if men are responsible for the financial support of the children they help to create then why are they not also required to approve an abortion procedure?

I got injured in an accident and I am out of work.

I'm a waitress who JUST got out of training so I don't know how much on average I'd personally make as a waitress yet.

I'm going to be out of work for a bit over a month.

How does a lawyer know how much to sue the other guy for for compensation for lost wages from my job since there is no exact number?

Would he just have to ask my boss to give him an estimate based on what other waitresses usually make?

At a certain school all the pupils who are fasting have to take part in phsyical education in which they have to take part in football or basket ball or in some cases cross country. the letter states that if any pupil feels disy or that they can not take part of the lesson that they would be treated however the school expect them to get dressed then when they are out of energy they can be excused. is there any law that can out line this stupid school policy?
