Their isnt a legal age its all a matter of trust.but think 16 is reasonable.Even then make certain an adult checks the house on regular occasions.It is vital that the kid knows how to remain safe and secure at all times.

at 13 they are allowed to babysit at 15 they can`t be made to live at home provided they can prove they have somewhere respectable to live actually i think leaving kids at home at any age (not baby`s or infant`s) is not a crime unless something happens
personally i don`t think i`d trust my lot to be left in my house alone for days if they were forty i darn`t leave the older ones in there while i go to the shops with out a couple of the small ones there to spy and report back I`d say 16 if they can be trusted

The legal age is 16, provided that your teenager is of stable mind and not disabled. If he is, then the age is 18.

u can watch children from the age off 14, home alone probably 15/16

You can legally leave some one at home once they reach the age of 16 be it on your head, but beware of them having all their mates in and partying at your expense, and wrecking the place.
