Are there things that we should or shouldn't do when we meet with the defendants attorneys? I've heard that they are also trying to see if you'd impress the jury if the case goes to court. What does that mean? What would impress the jury or make a bad impression on the jury?

Is prostitution really unethical and wrong if the sex worker himself/herself willing wishes to offer such services? OK. I understand that the sex trade can (and no doubt does) lead to forced prostitution - and I find that 100% unacceptable, disgraceful and of couse unlawful. But if the industry were properly regulated with earnings declared and a government health check scheme initiated, and all sex workers worked in the profession of their own free will, surely there shouldn't be a problem...

what is my legal standing on this matter, this company trade nearly 500 miles from me and advertize 125cc motorbikes but delivered bikes that were only 107cc. they refused to give me the bikes i paid for and never returned my calls or answered my emails, trading standards were almost useless due to the fact that i am in scotland and this company is in sussex. I have been trying for over one year to rectify this but they always manage to waffle thier way out and come up with some excuse. they eventually agreed to swap the bikes for the correct ones i paid for and collected the wrong ones, but guess what, they refuse to send me the new bikes and insist that if i want the old bikes back i have to pay 300 pounds for the pleasure. looks like i have been truly ripped off so should i name and shame this company as they obviously dont give a damn.
thanks for all answers

I go to a publically funded charter high school. There is a principal but also a school board and they make most of the decisions The board is made of about 6 parents. You must be elected to the board. In the 15 year history of the school, no board member has ever been a non christian. most of the school's families are very religious and its virtually impossible to be elected if you dont go to church or are a "different" religion. the board meets at the school during the evening, 2 times a month. Everyone is welcome at these meetings but only the board can vote on school issues (and they usually discuss and vote in private). So my question is...Is it legal for the board to say a prayer aloud at the beginning of the meeting? they say "anyone not comfortable with praying can leave and come back in later" but this doesnt seem like a reasonable option bc everyone will see you leaving and most likely will judge for your religious beliefs (these are not the nicest people) Any thoughts?

On campus in college, most bathrooms have signs saying "Keep our bathrooms clean: they are being monitered." Can there be security cameras in bathrooms? That sounds like a pretty hardcore violation of civil rights to me.

When it come's to the buisness of prostitution, I believe most people realize that it can absolutly be as profitable and professional as any other buisness. Even though the subject can be a little uncomfortable, we still need to let our official's know that we want our resource's freed up. And let grown adult's be left alone.

I get SO much junk mail! I really dont use the coupons (I only shop at 2 grocery stores and I just pick up their circular, and I call ahead to restaurants for their specials)
I want to save these companies money on their postage, and I hate knowing all the paper that is wasted on this thing. For now, I just recycle it, but it is REALLY getting cold here, and I dread making the walk to my apartment complex recycling bin in below freezing temperatures.
It's just so inconvenient. Can anyone tell me where to go to remove myself from these lists for free? Like a Do-Not-Junk-Mail registry?

To any one that says no the government should not be allowed to say who should be legally marrierd, I also want to ask if they think 2 brothers or 2 sisters who are gay should be allowed to married. If not, why? Since they can't have kids and wouldn't be hurting anyone. Isn't it inconsistent to say the government can't say who can be legally marrierd and who can't but then say 2 brothers or 2 sisters can't marry each other. And why should the government be allowed to say polyigamy is wrong?

On Stock bulletin board for PTN there are comments about their new sex stimulant drug PT-141. Many posts each day for several years. In one of PTN trial runs, they had users view porno. Nothing obscene mentioned. When I related that porno had been used in the trials, Yahoo censored the word " porno ". Yet, Yahoo allows obscene words all the time, yet censors this single word, which is not obscene, merely descriptive of material. Do you have right wing religious nuts protecting language? Grow up. Ordinary words
should not be censored, especially if not obscene. Infantile
mentality of limited brains.
