They particular can petition to have him impeached. it is your First modification precise "....to petition....". besides the undeniable fact that, writing a petition won't consequence in impeachment, because it is the situation of the domicile to subject Articles of Impeachment. Then, the Articles are debated interior the Senate wherein they vote to convict or no longer convict. 2 presidents have been impeached, one for violation of an order of Congress, and the 2nd, for mendacity below oath in a federal trial. the two Presidents have been Southern Democrats, impeached by Republicans in congress, and neither President became into convicted.

And do you know the Democrats and Liberals wanted
to "impeach" President Bush right after he won the
election? They complained about chads, dimples,
disenfranchisement, non-counted votes, voters turned
away, racist voting machines, voting machine errors,
wrong postage date on absentee ballots and just
everything they could think of so that Bush would not be
President. THey have hated him ever since and blamed
him for everything under the sun that has happened,
even hurricane Katrina and high gas prices (as if he
called all stations and told them to hike up their prices).
So, they haven't ever let up and now that they are in power
in D.C., they still can't get over that election so they now
want to impeach him. For what? Only to get even and
satisfy their hate. What a terrible thing for this country. It
is a very strange thing to me that since they won the election
this year that all of a sudden, the machines were all perfect
and there was no disenfranchisement, no voters turned away,
no racist voting machines or even any voting machine errors.
Hmmmmm.

Citiznes can't, they can merely ask thier congress people to act. But then there has to be actual crimes.
At this point, they would only waste two years and get nothing else done, I hope they merely get going with fixing things, and stop all the attacks, if not, they will only make things worst,
Which is not thier promise at the election

There is no such provision. Under Jeffersons' rules, states may request the congress to impeach the president, but individual requests carry no weight in American law.
Memorials are simply referred to a committee in congress, where they die.

For what-taking out terrorists and making America more secure? The War in Iraq wasn't illegal-and the Dems had just as much part in it as the Reps.
