NO, and if you really want to be spy like to where they really don't know where you are writing from, travel a little bit and send it from somewhere else. That way the postmark on the envelope when they get it says somewhere else.

No you don't have to put a return address on anything to mail it. The only reason for the return address, is so that the mail can be returned to you if it is not deliverable, ie the person has moved and has no forwarding address, or, you made a mistake when filling out the address of where it was to be delivered. But for what you want to do I don't think you need to worry about putting the return address on it. Hope this helps!

No, you never have to put a return address on mail if you don't want to. It's strongly recommended so that in case the letter gets lost in the mail system, it can be returned to you, but you don't have to put one. However, if I can be honest for a moment, I think it would be infinitely more productive to identify yourself in the letter, or better yet, to schedule a face-to-face meeting with the child's parents to resolve whatever poor behavior he/she is exhibiting. The only reason I say that is that many parents don't take anonymous letters about their children seriously, or worse, they perceive it as some sort of threatening or stalking behavior. In other words, the child's offense gets lost in the message and all the parents remember is that some crazy anonymous person left them a letter about their kid. Nothing will be solved and the message will be disregarded. Better to summon your courage and get over their and confront them, pleasantly, of course, about the behavior that's upsetting you.

Yes! The post office requires it although I can't see the reason why. All a person has to do is put a phoney name and address as the return address.

No, just be sure you have the address written correctly, and there is enough postage. You dont want to be worrying about your letter being returned and you never knowing about it

no, it will be delivered without a return address. Packages mailed through regular mail must have a return address.

You do not need to have it on there. The post office will certainly deliver anything as long is there is the proper postage attached to the letter/package.

If you know the exact address, I wouldn't. Otherwise drop it in their mailbox or have someone do it for you.

no you don't, it would be far easier to pin the letter on the child when you send them home

nope! but if it gets lost in the mail (unlikley), it will not make it back to you... it probably wouldn't even if it did have a ruturn adress anyway.
