Does anyone know if the 500 foot rule for non smoking near a school is a federal law or a michigan law? What are the penalties? Where can i find a copy of this law?

Is it the responsibility of the casher or of the person who wrote the cheques? can anyone tell me either what the law states or from there own knowledge?

Seriously! One would think that such laws violate the separation of church and state that's established in the Constitution, but I once heard about a Supreme Court ruling that stated that blue laws weren't unconstitutional. What's up with that?

I say this after reading The Rolling Stones have cancelled a concert so someone is suing for $26m because of this. The Tickets Cost $575 (probably still valid!) and the hotel $300. So where does this figure come from??
This is also the nation that sued Mcdonalds for making you fat, Did they think it was healthy?? Also sued Mcdonalds because the coffee was Hot and didn't say it on the cup. What??!!! It's meant to be hot!!
I am not trying to steroetype (the Americans) here cos i know the English have plenty of idiots also but C,mon $26m!!! Be real.

I was just wondering, I had applied for a job and got the call today that I was hired. When she called she said "You're background check was clear which makes you hired!!"
Now I ask this because like 5 months ago, I got pulled over for running a stop sign which I dont think I did. So my court appearance was on a date during which i was in the bahamas, so i couldnt go. The court found me guilty. I called the court and they told me to pay 250.00 and i will be ok. what do this mean? i thought i would have a warrant, and i thought my license would be suspended, but i guess not. Please bare with me, I'm a little confused to what is going on.SERIOUS ANSWERS PLEASE.

I received citation payment in the mail. I m not sure what is the best situation to pay either pay traffic school or bail amount. I would like to know what are those effects .The incident was taken in Southern California. This is my first time and I can not afford to pay those fee or amount:. I know the rules and action is different in states and even another country. I prefer to get your answer from California or Orange County, CA. Thanks ....

Earlier in the week, someone sent me an email. It was regarding a question of hers I answered weeks ago. She was slandering her husband and blah blah and had a 360 page full of his pictures and mean stuff written about him. So sent her a message and said that she should at least let everyone hear her husbands side of the story. And that she had no right posting his pictures and names and bashing him. I then said it was to much dramma. So she reported me to yahoo abuse. At the actuall yahoo abuse center. Now my account is canceled, and I am using this one. Here is the problem.

My daughter has a non profit group in which she gets care packages sent over to the soldiers in iraq and afganestan, The list for the next ten boxes are in that email. A group from town volunteerd to ship the ten boxes for her, pay postage. The press is going to be here to take pictures and the news. yahoo will not reinstate my account. the financial help available to us legal carers (section 11) is a disgrace, but what else can i expect from the british government, her parents let her down badly, with no help or support now the local athourity can wash their hands of her. many people make a big mistake and think we are in the same cover as foster carers ,and are well looked after to able to do this huge responsibility . just as well i love my grandaughter enormously and want to give her a happy safe, full life. and shes still within the family.eh!!!!!!! thank you god!!!!!!

So many terrorist, many from Iraq and have been there as well before the are devoted suicide bombers set out on a mission to kill Americans everywhere, Iraq just is not the only country American troops are located. Iraq is not a dead end job as I might wonder why John Kerry believes he has a job anymore without a uniform how can he legally defend it against terrorists that have nothing except bombs and no real uniform to speak of. John Kerry wanted to talk politics not the reality of Iraq and the Middle East and Terrorism, is that why he waited so long to say anything about he not going to allow that from congress, sure gag the order Kerry so it applies to thyself. Our troops have Israel to thank for approaching the Hezbollah when they did so that narrowed the argument, uniform against uniform and in most cases Israeli against the black cloth hezbollah which I do not recognize as a uniform.

America has a Kerry with Boy and Girl Scouts that need American soldiers in Iraq!
