my question is my friend yes really i dont drink ,but he was sitting on his own patio not causing any disburbance and he got arrested for pi is that right?

well he was on his own property, but he was argueing with someone on his phone i guess he got loud

If he is noticeably intoxicated, yes. Probably neighbors called the police.

More than likely, he was causing some sort of disturbance for him to even be noticed at all. If he was in public and intoxicated he can be arrested. Although, where I live the police don't bother you if you are on your own property. They will tell you to go inside though if you are causing a disturbance.

It depends on how the law is interpreted in your jurisdiction. Personally, No, he should not have been arrested. But I must ask, why did the cops show if he "was just mindin' his own business?"
