It said so on a flag rules website. Doesn't seem fair to me. Ohio can't do that.

Because I went yesterday. They said I owed them money for a couple of visits a while back, even though I have checked into my insurance I used to have and they said that there is indeed a referral in place and that account should have been paid if they would have re-submitted the claim.

So anyways, they wouldn't let me be seen by a doctor because of this, because of it being unpaid from back then even though I told them there is a referral, re-submit the claim. They insisted there is no referral even though I have checked and found otherwise. But they said I can't see a doctor, but I could go to the ER.

Where is the sense in this?!?! To charge a patient $1,000 for an ER visit when they no longer have insurance now instead of allowing them to be seen by a doctor which would be much less? And I thought all of this was illegal?!?!?!!!

I cannot even believe tht the ACLU is defending NAMBA, an organization of pedophiles who are looking to make consentual sex between men and young boys legal. Why in this country can we legislate that we cannot drive without a seatbelt, or ban trans fats in NY, yet we ALLOW organizations of grown men who sexually prey on children to exsist? And WHY in God's name is the ACLU defending this organization? There is truly something way wrong in this country. I am not conservative and agree with the rights of the people. But this country has gone to hell in a zip loc bag if we as a nation accept this!

Does it damage a wifes credibility to lie in court about her husband. She said she was never allowed to be alone(like a prisoner) and he abused her. But she went to China with her husband after that, traveled alone in China leaving her husband in her familys house AND RETURNED TO THE HOUSE IN THE USA WITH HER HUSBAND. Why did she return if she was abused, she could have stayed in China? Is her story believable?

Didn't her and her underage lover, who are now living happily ever after with two children, set a reasonable precedent that the law is arbitrary and wrong? Now that they're both legal, why don't they stand up and fight for other's rights to do the same thing, if it worked out so well for them?

I am currently debating with some classmates about same sex marriages. I believe its okay because not allowing such a union is discrimination. Not only does it take away that individual's natural right (pursuit of happiness) it also differenciates citizens of the United States. When one says that it is wrong i would like to know under what basis other than that of religion. If that is the argument than it is not a valid one because of seperation of church and state. Secondly, some say it shouldnt be allowed because this country was formed under Christianity. I say "that is fine", since marriage is a christian ceremony let there be a second type of union in which same sex couples can participate. However, under the newly proposed amendment (that is to be voted on in a few days) it states that NO union/partnership will be allowed between two individuals of the same sex. This appals me; how can we as a nation be so insensitive to our individuals?

and do you feel it fair to lump marijuana (invented by God as opposed to human invention) along with these narcotics?

and considering the above narcotics were invented by drug companies (loaded question) - why do we still allow these pharmaceutical companies to run and produce toxic chemicals like the Vioxxx, Paxil etc. that still to this day cause death to users while marijuana use has been the cause of zero known fatalities from its use?

is it solely due to the fact that pharma-cos donate heavily to the GOP?

And how does this relate to the pressure to keep marijuana usage outlawed? and it's original outlawing in 1937?

it is an abomination to outlaw that which God has given us in its natural state.

What had happened it the neighbor didn't want to destroy his land but since I have over 5 acres, he thought making a path way through my land was okay. He cut down 3 large trees and made a large enough path that a bulldozer could fit through it. I heard the bull dozer one day while I was cutting grass and went to investigate. What recourse do I have? His insurance company is contacting me but I don't think they are going to be fair. Thank you

Tenant has refused to pay since April. I applied for his removal. Now I've been told I have to pay more and fill out more applications for his removal after the courts told me I was done last time. I can't afford the new fees or for a lawyer to help me with the applications. Are there resources in Long Island?

I was out shopping with Mum and we asked directions from a guy who worked at the store. He seemed really charming and helpful, and told us to walk up stairs to the 2nd floor. So we did, and getting toward the top we looked down and saw this same guy stood directly below us, with a big grin on his face as he looked straight up our skirts! *BLUSH* Where we wanted to go wasn’t even on that floor of the shop, he’d tricked us into walking up stairs just so he could get a look at our panties. We went back down but he’d gone and we couldn’t find him again. We were so embarrassed – Mum and I both had huge blushes on our face, but also angry that this little pervert had the power to make two strong women feel so uncomfortable, when it was HIM who should have been the embarrassed one! We couldn’t find him and didn’t check his name when we got directions, so although we complained to management there wasn’t much we could do or prove. Why can guys do that to us, and what should we have done?

I found out the other day that the CEO of my company gave out my personal information to a sales employee. This is a remote sales employee and was having problems with his laptop. So on Sunday night at 6:30 I receive a call on my personal home number (not a company number) from this sales person, frantic and needing help. I cut him off and asked him how he got my number and he told me that the CEO gave him my home number and told him to give me a call. My home number is not publicly listed and no one in the company has my number. The only place my home number appears is in the confidential HR documents. I am pretty sure the CEO has no right to go into those documents and give out my personal information, but what is my legal recourse?
