The funny thing about the Bill of Rights is it only applies when you're not impeding upon other peoples rights.

That is why you can not yell fire in a crowded building, or faliciosly claim they did something that they didn't.

Even though you have freedom of religion, so does the guy next to you. If he believes in Satan and you believe in God you can not harass them because they have freedom of religion just as you do.

There are many limits to this, espeically in todays post 9/11 world (especially given the Patriot Acts various provisions).

Plus, the internet, is private property (so to speak) and you're not on a government owned site, its private, just as the company is, and you agreed to their terms and conditions when you signed up. You may want to read those over again. They do not in any way shape or form guarentee you freedom of speech.

The constitution and the Bill of Rights is essentially a contract between the American government and the American people. The Constitution spells out the rights and limitations the government can impose on it's citizens. Since Yahoo is not the Federal Government, it can set any rules it pleases, including the freedom of religious speech.

A company such as Yahoo can allow or forbid whatever they want. Freedom of religion and speech, etc. only applies to the government. For example, a policeman cannot arrest you for saying, "I don't like white people." Yahoo, on the other hand, can take your statement off of their website if they don't like it. If you have a website, you can add or delete whatever you want.

Which version of "freedom of speech" are you talking about? Actually free speech or Democrat free speech which basically allows you to say anything you like so long as you agree with them. No, privately owned companies can determine and legislate what you can say and what you can't.

No American company has to allow freedom of religion speak.

If you violate the Yahoo community guidelines, using their web site and their computers, they are well within their rights to delete and boot as is appropiate.

No they don't. They are company, not a branch of the government. They can limit speech ON THEIR WEBSITE all they want.

Everyone keeps complaining about this. Someone who is good with the internet start a question and answer forum, get it discovered enough to matter, and don't limit the content.

You misunderstand freedom of speech completely.

Private companies don't have to give you "freedom of speech" - the GOVERNMENT gives you "freedom of speech".

If a private company doesn't want you to say something or wants to censor you - they can.

But - the government cannot PROSECUTE you for your speech.

As a private company, they don't HAVE to but I was unaware they were censoring. People post all sorts of different religious and non-religious views on here.
