I was out shopping with Mum and we asked directions from a guy who worked at the store. He seemed really charming and helpful, and told us to walk up stairs to the 2nd floor. So we did, and getting toward the top we looked down and saw this same guy stood directly below us, with a big grin on his face as he looked straight up our skirts! *BLUSH* Where we wanted to go wasn’t even on that floor of the shop, he’d tricked us into walking up stairs just so he could get a look at our panties. We went back down but he’d gone and we couldn’t find him again. We were so embarrassed – Mum and I both had huge blushes on our face, but also angry that this little pervert had the power to make two strong women feel so uncomfortable, when it was HIM who should have been the embarrassed one! We couldn’t find him and didn’t check his name when we got directions, so although we complained to management there wasn’t much we could do or prove. Why can guys do that to us, and what should we have done?

Thanks for your answers so far - to answer a question a few have asked or alluded to: well, we were both wearing short skirts, but it's not as though they were belts and you could see our panties when we walked normally - my mum wouldn't wear something THAT short, and I don't think she'd let me do it around her either! He tricked us into being in a position where he could see up our skirts quite easily and get a good view - surely we shouldn't be made to feel embarrassed or uncomfortable just for wearing a short skirt. Don't us women have the right to wear a skirt without men invading our privacy and making us blush?

Hello Karen, some men are going to do what ever it takes and you happened across one of these guys. I go out with my hubby in micro minis on our date nights. I am with him and don't care what anyone else may see or say. I don't pay attention. In your case you were asking for help and I'm sorry that you ran across someone who did that to you. Just laugh it off and hope he enjoyed his little peek at you. Life is too short to worry about a pervert peeking at you.

While he was being a perv, you have to accept that he is not the only one out there like that. When you put on that skirt to go shopping you had to know that at some point you are going to be bending over to pick up a shirt or pants off the shelf, or going up the escalater with someone riding behind you. Had you never looked back you would have never seen him looking. But your skirt would still have caught people's attention and you best believe if it was that short he was not the only one looking. If you wear that skirt to look sexy then expect those reactions. Peace!

If you don't like people (especially men) staring at you, then don't wear such revealing clothing. I mean, come on, if you are going to around handing them out in platters then people are going to come grab them.
Granted he is a perv, and even though I am a man myself, would have never done such a thing, pray tell me why do women wear such clothing? Why do women spend so much money and time that they don't have on potions and lotions? Women don't "look" nice for the trees. Women do that to attract men.
Congratulations, you have managed to attract a man by wearing such skimpy outfits. Now why are you complaining that a man was actually attracted to both of you.
Is the solution really that hard? Is it really that unintuitive or difficult to comprehend?
Logic dictates, if you don't want to be treated like this, then don't dress up like that. There is a reason that places have dress codes. Why can't female teachers come to school wearing bikinis? Why do nuns have to dress the way they do? Have you ever seen a congresswoman or "professional" businesswoman dress like that at work?
Coming from a (straight) man, TRUST ME when I say this. When I see an attractive, young, beautiful woman, yes I will stare. I am not going to deny it. But her dress, her manners, the way she speaks, and carries herself will determine whether I will stare at her with disgust, with lust, or with awe, wonder, and jealousy.

Sorry, but when you wear a skirt of any length you are aware that people may get the chance to see up it and you make accommodations accordingly.
This individual should have been spoken to my management, so I would have walked the store with the mgr. until I found the guy to make sure he learned that this is not professional behavior in a place of business. I hope you filed a written complaint. If not, get the guy's name and file one.

Wear more modest clothing.
It wouldn't have mattered if he had sent you up those stairs or not. Anytime you walk around you need to think about what is going through guys minds when they see you. Any number of guys could have been attracted to your walk up those stairs and could have seen what the perpetrator saw. Whether you like it or not, men will notice pretty girls and the more you show, the more they will look. If you don't want them to look at your assets, then you shouldn't put them on display.
That might be a sexist statement but it is reallity also.

I don't think it has anything to do with how short you're skirt is. He is a perve and should be embarrassed, but im sure he's not! When you told management, did you describe him? and did you wait around for them to find him. I would have!! And i would have made sure that everyone around could hear me telling what this guy did, and that if they( the store) didn't fire, I would let everyone i know and the news media know that they( the store) approve of his actions! I bet that would have done the trick!

Ok as as female I hate that we have to check ourselves not to tempt men or get accused in a situation when we are clearly the victim.....has anyone ever heard of self-control or is that just for women......because of how I dress is it acceptable for a guy to act like he has no class or is a moron.....why are you blushing? You should have put him on blast when you realize what he was doing....then he would have been embarassed!!! For him to do all of that just to look up your skirt, is just pathetic and childish. Pervert.....dont feel bad you just happen to come across a real a**hole!!!

Yea, like when you show up downstairs in the condo pool wearing your skimpy bikini and tell me to stop staring at you. Well, you didn't like when I called the cops and almost had you arrested for harrassing me! There is no such arrest as staring! I am free to stand and look whereever I want in public

I love long dresses. My bf prefers the brief ones. So my wardrobe is filled up w/ 1/2 and 1/2.
