Well I would start with the U.S. constitution, throw out any of the Amendments that are not being used. Redo the Bill of Rights to reflect the truth of today's world and go from there. I think having a Executive branch, Legislative branch and Judicial branch is a good thing, but I might put in things like term limits for Judges (10 years, no reappointment), maybe 1, 6 year President term, and only 2 elected terms for Senators and Representatives. I would also try to set up a three political party system.
