Its possible to receive a charge for operating any type of transportation while under the influence. I had a friend in Arizona who was arrested for being under the influence, and he was riding his horse home from the bar. So see anything is possible if you are traveling on a public roadway(or side of the road like my friend), and the same goes for air space.

It's not illegal judging by some of the commercial airline pilots out there. Since a para is not motorized, I would say there isn't one (except maybe P.I.)...just like you can't get a biking under the influence.

It's illegal big time, all that time and training for your pilot license goes right down the drain.
