We are moving and have an entire liquor cabinet full, and most have been opened. Are we able to legally transport these open bottles from one residence to the other without violating the 'open container' laws? We live in Arizona.

She's going off on one of her rampages again..

I love and need my jeep. It's how I get to school, work, a concurrent college class, the lake, the library, and to the hospice I am starting to volunteer at.

I just need to know if, legally, she could take it away. The deed is completely in my name (my grandpa bought it for me last year and had it switched to me).

I can't let her have it. I hate being stuck at home. With her. It's so bad for me psychologically and for my grades when she yells at me. I'm trying so hard.

Is the jeep mine no matter what or does she, as a parent, have a legal right to take it away?

Specifically what options can a mortgage company have to get the court to hear a motion to force the hand of one party to sign papers to sell a house. There are two parties involved, but one is dragging their feet. There is no disagreement over the validity of the mortgage or that foreclosure is imminent. The stalling party continues to delay the proceedings by switching attorneys and then being granted a continuance. There is a buyer for the house, but needs the signature of both parties to continue. Given that the financial interest of the mortgage company is clear, can they file a AC brief?

Like, will a lawyer say, OK, I'll defend you and if you win the case, then you pay me $X. But if you lose, you don't owe me anything...

Ok, I am usually quite up on legal stuff, but this has thrown me!
We got a letter from the council today sayin that our first court case was adjounred and its been rescheduled. This is for non payment of C.Tax.
Thing is, this is the first letter we have ever had from them and we have paid all of our C.Tax and have bank statments to show it.
Do they not usually send a reminder or something? I cannot believe that they can just send a letter after a first court hearing.
Anyone else had a similar experiance? what did you do?
I have just written to them, but am worried it will still go further.

Victim says he was asked for his belongings. The accused who had just turned 18 years didnt ask for his belongings but 'what his problem was'. Accused has never been in trouble with police before, goes to uni, works part time, stuck to the bail conditions and answered all questions that the police put towards him. The barrister instructed the accused to plead guilty even though he didnt do what he was accused of instead of going to trial. 'Victim ' says that a knife was pulled out. The judge has implied that he may go down for 4 years. Does anyone know what the accused may face? Should he have gone to trial? I will add additional info if needed. Thanks

Hi, I am in a law class right now I am having trouble defining legal elements and what cause of action they should take.

Here is a brief summary of the article:

A man who was reckless driving a jet ski with headphones blaring (Even though there was a warning saying don't wear headphones while operating). The jet ski motor blew out and the guy on the jet ski hit a girl.

1)What cause of action can the girl bring against the rocket ski company? I said the girl would sue the company for product liability, and manufacturer liability.
2) What are the elements? I am not sure what this question is asking.. Elements?
3)What would be the likely outcome of the suit? The girl would win for manufacturer default

any help would be greatly appreciated.

You're pretending it's okay that he hypocritically worked to impoach Clinton while having an affair, on the basis that he didn't lie about it under oath. Well, nobody asked him, did they?

And it gets worse. Remember, the wife he cheated on was the one he married after dumpting Wife #1. Here's the story on that:

He married his High School teacher soon after graduating. By the time he became a Big Shot, she was too old and frumpy for him, so he exchanged her for a newer model. He slapped divorce papers on her while she was in a hospital bed with cancer! And he was a Deadbeat Dad, refused to pay child support, which relegated them to begging from their local church (the origin of the Faith Based Initiative??)

Of course, none of this is remotely as bad as what Clinton did! You moralistic phonies!

In what has been described as a “modern day David and Goliath” battle, a man from Swindon, took on the supermarket giant after it refused to compensate him fully for damage done to his van by contaminated fuel.

Despite Tesco’s admission of liability for selling Mr Bond 61 litres of diesel that had been contaminated with water, it balked at paying more than 25 per cent of his £3,400 repair bill. After chasing the debt for three years Mr Bond secured a High Court judgment against Tesco in December. As the supermarket chain continued to stall, the court ordered enforcement officers to impound goods until it had cleared its debt. So last Thursday shoppers at the St Oswald’s Road Tesco Extra store in Gloucester watched as bailiffs strolled in and roped off £60,000 of its finest wines and liquors. Staff were warned that they would be in contempt of court if they tried to sell the goods which were under a walking possession. Looks like no-one is safe!

Basically he has been charged with ABH (on me) 2 x counts of common assault (my sister and her friend) criminal damage (he smashed my car window) and abusing a police officer. This is the first time he has been in trouble with the police and generally has never been violent. I can't stand the thought that he may go to prison for this. Although what he has done is wrong he doesn't deserve that. I called the police station and said that I wanted to retract my statement but they said the wouldn't accept a retraction. I thought I had a right to retract this statement. Is what they said correct? (this happened in the UK)

I am doing my thesis on the double standard of punishment for male sexual predators and female sexual predators. Most of the research I have done show men doing jail time and women getting probation (Debra Lafave). Can you believe the judge did not send her to prison because she was "too pretty" Anyway I believe men get screwed in many issues such as child support, visitation rights and now prison time. I would like to hear how you guys feel about this. Do you think there is a double standard? Women have always been known as the "weaker sex." Is that why we get lighter prison sentences than men. If a man has sex with a young girl he is sick and should be shot. If a woman has sex with a young boy that shoud be okay because boys are "supposed to like sex." Okay I welcome all feedback, and thank you for helping with my thesis.

I contacted the post office last month and they weren't much help. They blamed me for mailing too many packages (I was moving and mailed other packages during that time) even though both had delivery confirmation and showed they had not been delivered. Plus I mailed a third package at the same time and it arrived. I've never had a problem with the post office before so I didn't bother insuring them. I believe foul play is involved because the 2 lost packages were media mail with dvds, books, video games (probably valued together at $1000). But the post office continues to blame me even though I didn't lose them. How did they lose 2 very large packages yet the other one arrived (also media mail)? Should I contact the police?

I am currently about to get the wheels back in motion for a lawsuit. and before I go and try to do this can someone tell me if a police report is NEEDED or if I can proceed with this without one. I have medical bills and what not but I need to know if I have to have that police report showing that the incident occurred or if the medical bills and what not are enough.
