We were at the bar last night when some guy flipped up my wifes skirt. Is this sexual harassment or assualt? What can be done about it?

Thats assault.
You probably can't do much now. Unless you know who it was and have planty of witnesses. If you do, call the police and make a complaint.

Both. Sexual harrassment because he touched your wife's skirt, that's also considered assault as well because it was unwanted touching. I hope you reported the man to the police; that is so uncalled for.

It is considered assault. A person is touching another person without permission.
What can you do? Report it to the police. They will determine what the person will be charged with initially, but it is the DA that will carry forth the prosecution.
If I were your wife, I would have kicked the jerk in the balls. . .

If you want to punish such things the judges shall work till the end of the world.And it is not fair to sue them , because is a behaviour learnt from around.
Parents are responsible and the teachers.
What is school for..if things like this happens?Does the trigonometry help?

Sexual Harrassment. The action was done without intention to cause physical harm. Yet, it was done to demean the women.

It is assault. You should have called the cops. If you know who he is your wife can still call the cops and press charges. At the very least ask the bartender to escort the jerk out the back door.

Not sure if its either, but it was just some drunk being stupid. Forget about it and dont go to that bar again if they encourage that type of behavior.

If you know who the guy was just go to the police department and file a complaint. and its good if you have some witnesses to support it. good luck.
