If you don't pay your speeding ticket you will have a warrant issued for you. It's just a whole lot easier to pay it on time. You can contact the court clerk's office in the county where you received the ticket (unless a city cop issue the ticket, then contact city hall), and see if a warrant has been issued. Generally on a traffic warrant, the court clerk will gladly take the money even if it's late and then they will recall the warrant.

A bench warrant will be issued for your arrest when you do not show up for court. A cop will arrest you. You will be put in jail. You will make new close friends in jail.
Pay the ticket!

In Ca you will have to pay it when you register your car again. That is if a warrant isnt issued for your arrest for failing to respond to that ticket.

Upon your failure to appear, the judge will issue a bench warrant for your arrest. In CA, this also results in an additional charge: Failure to Appear- a misdemeanor

The court system will put out a warrant for your arrest. They won't notify you, they will just arrest you the next time you get pulled over.

A bench warrant for your arrest, penalties and interest added to the original cost, loss of your drivers license, inability to renew your car registration......probably lots of others.
Why don't you just pay it now. Sooner or later you will have to anyway - and it is just cheaper now.

It will double or when you go to renew you lic. it will come up and you wont be able to renew it till you pay for the ticket
