In Kentucky there is a law that says it’s illegal to carry "Ice cream" in your pockets! The law covers any kind of sweets, from cake to sugar. Why? Well in the old days when the most common transportation was riding a horse, some horse thieves found a loop hole. They could claim that any horse was theirs, when the owner said no its mine, a third party made each person stand a few feet away and whoever the horse followed was determined the owner. Horses love sweets so if the thief had a pocket full of sugar, or whatever the horse was more likely to follow them. When the law makers found out what was going on it was put on the books, and has remained there ever since.
