Can someone with an aggravated felony and a permanent resident ever be allowed to stay in the United States?

The person came as a child but was put into the foster care system because of parental abuse. The person later committed a crime, was given probation, served it but is now may be deported anyway.

That's a question for an immigration lawyer. But from what I know, yes he can. He is not a citizen.
