For example, person A makes voodoo doll of person B, stabs it in the heart. Coincidence or not, B dies of unexpected heart attack shortly thereafter. Assuming the police discover the doll, does A get arrested? Could a case be made?

Similarly, suppose A had been seen/heard performing 'spells'. There is no way to prove conclusively (satisfactorily for a court of law) whether magic spells work- but A is accused of killing B by these spells- could it possibly go to court?

I was just pulled over for going 7 MPH over the speed limit. The officer issued me a citation for Violating the Speed Limit.

While I understand that "legally" I broke the law by speeding, I do not feel the officer used any discretion. I was on my way to church and conducted myself very respectfully throughout the traffic stop.

Financially I cannot afford to pay the $120 civil penalty which is why I am going to court.

I have never been to court (let alone pulled over before). What should I say in my defense? Please just give me some insight as I do not know what to expect. I know I was wrong so how do I defend myself?

I live in a small community in Arkansas and the owner of our local conveince store applied for and received approval for a liquor license. There are no churches within half a mile of this business, however, the local baptist community has decided to purchase a piece of property directly across the highway from the business, and build a church, which would put the business within the current 1000 foot restriction for liquor sales and church location.

My question is this, can the church legally do this or are there also laws prohibiting the the building of churches within certain distances of existing businesses that sell liquor?

I am going to be babysitting my neighbors daughter for awhile and I need to know what kind of legal forms should I have her sign saying she will not sue me if we got in an accident. I will have to drive her daughter at least 4 out of 5 days of the week. Does anyone know where I can find these documents online? Also need a document allowing me to seek medical care for her in case of emergency. Thanks!

I joined the Marine Corps in 1996. The reason i joined was i needed a free medical service. I was sick and no doctors could help me. and i didn't have no more money to go to doctors. I spend one year in the Marine Corps. I didn't appear outwardly that i was sick. People couldn't understand i acted like i was nervous all the time. I had Serious stomach acid problems and No relief for a week at a time, I was getting pounding headaches all the time. I found the Military doctors couldn't help me neither. So i decided to end my life there. I thought i was going crazy. A military psychologist told me that he needs to send me to a psycho ward and he will process a discharge for me to see if i could get help outside. That is how i got out of the military. I met a doctor after my discharge and the cure was so simple. I got complete cured. Now I have my own business and i made a decent living. However, I feel bad that i am not there in iraq. I am 36 now. Should I join MC again?

Was told at time of expungment, by judge and lawyer, that it was as if it never happened. Yet, later found no firearms allowed. Ok! For employment purposes only. So they change wording on applications to make you out to be a liar if you say you've never had a record or even plead guilty or no contest. And no acceptance of application for employment with any law enforcement dept.. Not even as maintanence. What's the purpose of going through the legal steps and paying the fees if these questions are allowed to be asked on applications for employment. Does ones past have to haunt them for the rest of their life reguardless?

We posted an ad for a car and got a reply by e-mail saying he would send us a check for 1,200 dollars more, because it was a refund check on a car he returned or something, and we just send the balance back to him. I knew it was a scam right away.

In Florida can a person legally go door-to-door and give their neighbors a flyer they have made up with another neighbors arrest record and instructing people to call the police with any suspicious active?
Please note the person has not gone to court or being found guilty of anything yet. Please give your reference source.
