If there was no evidence you wouldn't be charged, what you have is an accusation, and its pretty much a matter of credibility. If you have priors for anything sexual, you can expect to go to jail.

If there is, indeed, no evidence, you can prove your innocence via your credibility. First of all, were you at a different place, and, more importantly, with other people, at the time the alleged incident occurred? Second of all, have you volunteered to a DNA test? Willingly submitting or saying you are willing to submit to the test implies that you know you are innocent. Third, does your accuser have a bias against you? Have you done something non-sexual in the past that the accuser would like to get even for? Find proof of this-witnesses that saw the accuser was mad because you got first prize at the science fair, for example.

Hope this helps.

You can't prove a negative. That's why the US Constitution requires the government to prove its case, and beyond a reasonable doubt. If there is no evidence, then there should not even be probable cause for an arrest, warrant or charge. If there is, then there must be some evidence, however slight.

When there is no proof that you are innocent it is pretty much hard to prove it. You will go through many trials, you can try to prolong it but it will all come down to you looking foolish because in the end you will be proved guilty.

Lack of evidence alone does not totally prove your innocence. Take a lie detector test.

Credibility of the your testimony is the only defense that you have have if there is no evidence. It will be a choice who is telling the truth, whether you or the complainant.

Bill Clinton did it for years & years.
(But he was a Democrat and above the law in Arkansas.)

Sorry, I have no ideas.
(I notice that you said no evidence. YOU DIDN'T SAY YOU WERE INNOCENT.)
