okay lets say you get pulled over for a possible dui and you ask to go to the hospital to get a blood test then you get a ticket (never go to jail) then the dmv calls you and tells you your licence is going to be suspended but you havnt been convicted of anything by any court. does the right to a quick and speedy trial apply? so basically if you dont get a trial set in 45 days does that mean that your chances of a dismissal are good... thanks ohh and i dont drink (thank God) so save the dont drink and drive comments

Yahoo answers just deleted my question asking if smoking pot should be legalized. They said Bodly harm was the reason.

Lets see if they sensor my question now!!. This is one reason I went to Google!..

Before you argue about this do a web search for studies pot smoking, and just flip through the results,,, MAKE SURE YOU PAY ATTENTION TO WHERE THE RESULTS ARE COMMING FROM!!,, (Most of the top medical schools in the nation!)..

of the Islamic faith should be allowed to have the Koran present (and I suppose, sworn upon) in an American court of law. They appear to be defending those of the Islamic (American but mostly foreign) faith in our courts. They are evidently saying that this is their holy book and should not be denied them. Islamics, you know, the ones involved in the 9/11 terrorism. The ones suicide car bombing men, women and childern in Iraq and Iran. The ones that are shooting American military. This is the same ACLU that says ite Bible should not be allowed in a court of law. Surveys indicate that the majority of Americans hold some sort of Christian or Biblical views. The same ALCU that says there should be no Christian display in public places. The ALCU is standing up for Islamics but openly disaprove Christian holdings, rights and expressions of faith. Islamics -OK.. Christians - No way. Does this make you wonder "who's side are they on?" Disavow your own people but approve others? Reply

Why can't people just answer a question without reading into it? Why all of these word games with the questions & the answers? What happened to people who could think & respond in a helpful manner, rather than condem every person who mentions ABORTION in a positive light? I'm not anti-religious, but if you don't understand an issue, why would you attack a person for their views. I would think you would want to learn through sharing in their pain & have respect for the mere fact that it is a sensitive issue. The power of creation knows no hatred, but some of you humans sure do. Why must you attack every question with the word ABORTION in it?

someone I know has had 3 abortions while she was under the age of 20. All by the same person whom she was with for seven years. There was really no excuse behind it... just a young mind who was not ready for a child. She is VERY fearful of God. Has a child of her own now. Would never even CONCEIVE of it now. Will she be doomed to hell???

Is this even legal? I have never heard of it. My Friend Bitsy was saying that She hoped that She and Her Husband died together, because she couldn't bear to not be with him. I jokingly remarked that they should be buried in the same box. All of a sudden she had this strange look in her eye. Bitsy can be competetive, and I was recently discussing with her my plans for a 6 parcel burial spot in San Francisco. I honestly now believe that she will try to outdo me in the afterlife, and be buried in the same coffin as her husband. I know this sounds odd. Is there a precedent for this? Is it illegal? Is there a law in California that states that 2 people CANNOT be interred in the same crate? What if it were 2 men? Could I be discriminated against in death? I am building a large mausoleum, and I believe I can do whatever I wish behind those final closed doors, but what about the sleeping arrangements themselves? Is this legal????

After telling my new cosmotologist my head was sensative I hired a her. She left me with the strongest odor dye I have EVER smelt for over an hour! She left me unattended for the entire hour while she went to lunch! When she returned I told her to please take the dye out it was sizzling my scalp. When she took the dye out...I had blood everywhere. I later found out that my scalp was chemically burnt! I had open blisters and a raw scalp...all over my head! I have so many headaches and it is 5 months later! My questions are:
1. Can you get chemical poison from this?
2. Does anyone know about cosmotology injury laws?
3. Where should I sue? Civil or Small claims?
4. What would you do?
5. Got any advice?
Thanks for all responses and HELP.

Respectfully- Creative :)

I thought there was a law that gave us freedom of speech yet it seems that the police have been contacted in regards to racism on big brother. I don't agree with racism but don't the two laws conflict a little? And how come you can tell a white guy to go back to the slum he came from yet you can't say the same to an ethnic minority (see how carefully I'm choosing my words here)?

My husband died at the scene of the accident and the other driver had no insurance, failed to stop at a stop sign, and was driving on a revoked license. This was his 11th traffic violation in 2 years. Can he be charged with vehicular homicide and how do I push the issue so he doesn't kill someone else later. This young man has no regard for the law and that night had no regard for anyone's life. He never braked to try and stop before plowing into the drivers door of my husbands car and causing the passenger front axle to break and throw the car into a roll of over 100 yards before landing upside down with the drivers side door wedged against 2 power line poles. The people at the scene couldn't get to the car to see if anyone else was in it because it was in a culvert and my husband was ejected from his car to the pavement. I really want this young man to pay for his part in this. He broke laws that took my husband away from me and our son.

his neck, and he then sued you for the cost of the kitestrings, would you feel justified in allowing the same man to drown if you found him in trouble again?
My rational is that he has posed a threat to me (emotionally and financially) as a result of me trying to rescue him previously and we are taught that our first responsibility is for our own safety and welfare. (we can't save lives if we're having a breakdown from stress!)

P.S. the cost of these special strings etc. was $600
More than I make in 2 weeks!

My child's (age 2.5) father has done very upsetting things to me and my family for the past 3 years and I feel that I am getting sicker and sicker from it physically and mentally. The courts and lawyers say they can't (or won't) help me protect my kids from the things that he does, and I just want him to stop once and for all. For example, he gave my son ( age 14 & from a previous marriage) a cd that he downloaded from the internet, without letting me know or asking my permission. The cd contained racial hate songs on it. When I found out I was furious and asked why he would give him such a thing and he said, "oh lighten up, you always make a big deal out of nothing". Another time he made our daughter get a second set of vacines she didn't need claiming he was never told that she was up to date. But he was told, not only by me, but by the pediatrician, and her shot records. Bottom line, he gets away with it because I can't find a lawyer who's willing to help me put a stop to it.
