My child's (age 2.5) father has done very upsetting things to me and my family for the past 3 years and I feel that I am getting sicker and sicker from it physically and mentally. The courts and lawyers say they can't (or won't) help me protect my kids from the things that he does, and I just want him to stop once and for all. For example, he gave my son ( age 14 & from a previous marriage) a cd that he downloaded from the internet, without letting me know or asking my permission. The cd contained racial hate songs on it. When I found out I was furious and asked why he would give him such a thing and he said, "oh lighten up, you always make a big deal out of nothing". Another time he made our daughter get a second set of vacines she didn't need claiming he was never told that she was up to date. But he was told, not only by me, but by the pediatrician, and her shot records. Bottom line, he gets away with it because I can't find a lawyer who's willing to help me put a stop to it.

Contact your county social services and explain it to them. They can steer you to legal services that will help you.With all this going on,I'm assuming you are not still married to him. If so,get a restraining order on him for his harassment. All that takes is a written request to the court.
