Yahoo answers just deleted my question asking if smoking pot should be legalized. They said Bodly harm was the reason.
Lets see if they sensor my question now!!. This is one reason I went to Google!..
Before you argue about this do a web search for studies pot smoking, and just flip through the results,,, MAKE SURE YOU PAY ATTENTION TO WHERE THE RESULTS ARE COMMING FROM!!,, (Most of the top medical schools in the nation!)..

All drugs should be legal. What you take should be your business, no one elses. If all drugs were legal and cheap, as they would be, the consequences from drug use would be a tiny fraction of their catastrophic ones today. Our courts and jails are full of drug users, who could just as easily be drinkers or tobacco users, or those using the countless other drugs we all consume, such as coffee, chocolate, tea, etc., but for the whims of the particular culture you live in. The whole subject is cultural silliness and not worthy of modern society.

I'm no pothead. I've done it before, once.
I've heard somewhere 80% of America tries it at least once.
As for why it's not legal, I'm not sure. To be realistic, it does have down sides. It is known to cause lung cancer and such. I don't have an exact link, but the facts are out there, you just have to look. But that's not to say that it's worse than cigarettes. I'd feel safer smoking weed than smoking a cigarette any day of the week. Thankfully I don't do either and keep in shape.
Just remember to look at both sides. Some sites say there is NOTHING BAD ASSOCIATED WITH MARIJUANA. While others have stats showing other wise. Look on all of the sites to make sure you get a balanced perspective, then decide where you are.
I don't have an opinion on legalization of marijuana. Either way it's not my thing.
Good night.

The only reason the Gov. has not legalized it is because they haven''t found a way to tax it. Just rest assure that when the do figure it out it will be legal to smoke it. I don't think there is any diff. in alcohol and pot as far as weather it should be legal or not. If alcohol is ok then pot should be to. There are more dangerous drugs to worry about.

Tobacco IS legal & it IS harmful to the health of the smoker & the non-smoker who is breathing it. Tobacco is diffucult to keep out of the hands of minors & it will be worse with marijuana because the smoking of tabacco does not impede your judgement like marijuana does. We, as a nation, should be attempting to get our society to a point where it is harder for children to be exposed to behaviors that will cause them lifelong problems & difficulties. I am a child of the 60's who was born in the 50's & drugs have not done my generation any favors & our children have been left more confused than we were & it will take a few more generations to get rid of the bad habits that we bestowed upon ourselves & the future generations that we experimented with. Legalizing pot would create more crime because people are already being mugged for their medicinal pot in California & it's only going to get worse. You have typical "pothead" mentality & it shows in the wording of your question. Get clean for 5 years & see if you feel the same. A good diet is better than smoking pot.

No, I don't. I know of to many problems that it has created.
What I would be in favor of is a biologically engineered plant that retains it's beneficial qualities that the plant has, but make the THC content so small that the total production in the country wouldn't make one good reefer. The plant was taxed out of use as a source for commercial use by those who wanted wood pulp to be used for such things as paper making. Yes, the hemp weed was used at one time for making paper, among other things. The nuts of the plant are a good source of oil which would be a major help for fuels such as bio-diesel.

That's really creepy that they removed your question about legalizing pot. I would have not believed they removed it if I had not seen it and had it my answers also. It will be interesting to see what they do about this new question of yours.
