The plaintiff is also claiming punitive damages, outrageous medical bills, I already have 12,000 in restitution order, the civil lawsuit says $175.000 included the 12,000 which is a double jeopardy. How can bankrupcty help if the judgement hasn't been ordered yet? Or can the punitive damages be cleared for the DUI?

i am for capital punishment, because if someone is cold and cruel enough to take an innocent life, then why shouldn't theirs be taken? i also think capital punishment is good, because it shows a psycho what can happen to them if they decide to kill....don't you agree?

I understand the lawyer would have to do this but for the time being what kind of information and evidence could I get to go about getting a motion to dismiss a "criminal case" especially since there is no proof and only one witness on the defense side.

I need to know what the defense asked prosecution witnesses during Gideon's second case. Not the case in the Supreme Court that ruling that all people needed council, but the second case of trying to prove Mr. Gideons innocence. Any website referenced would be much appreciated. I really just need the questions that were asked, not the whole transcript.

If you dont want kids, dont get pregnant = you dont have to worry about abortion

if you are irresponsible and get pregnant = take care of your own business.

Get it?

Would have to pay for a kid anyway? You see all of these women on Maury and stuff who need pampers, they dont want a dad for the kid they want the child support.

So really who should have the choice here?

Old people cause just as many accidents as teenagers.. why is it 'ageism' to charge them more, but perfectly acceptable to charge young people more?

For some reason, I've noticed that a vast majority of men seem to be anti-abortion. (Not that they'll ever be faced with being pregnant- the father could walk away any time he wanted to) What do you think?

Well you see the neighbor was burning some trash and it sort of got out of hand and catches the other neighbors garage on fire. This is the same garage where his new John Deer tractor was. So the neighbor #2 sees his garage and new John Deer tractor on fire and he freaks out, goes in his house and comes out with a 12ga. Shotgun and shoots neighbor # 1. It doesn’t kill him it only hits him in a few places, most notably 2 buckshot that went through his left ear. They get in a fistfight, rolling around on the ground like two little boys. Neighbor # 1's wife gets a water hose to put out the fire but ended up hosing down both neighbors like two dogs making love. Neighbor # 2's wife comes running out of the house with a bucket of water but slips in the mud and pours most of the water on neighbor #1' wife. She thinks it was done on purpose and turns the hose on neighbor #2's wife. While they are all playing in the mud the garage and the new John Deer tractor burns down. This lights off a bottle of gas that looked like the best fireworks ever, only it lands behind my house and catches a grass field on fire. Finally someone in the next county sees the smoke and calls the fire dept. The fire dept. had a flat on the way to the seen and had to send there crew in on foot. So we all took shovels and rakes and other implements of destruction and put out the fire. Well you see all that smoke from the fire has ruin “Old Blue” my best coon dog. That poor old dog breathed so much smoke that when he farts he blows smoke rings and I was just wandering if I could sue somebody for that sort of thing and would you sue neighbor #1 or neighbor #2.?

Marriage only exists to "bind families" and as a "sign of affection", and how about a spouse is technically linked to the other after they have a child? So genetics are what really matter. Think about what happens because of marriage. Huge loss of money to get married, and divorced. And if you don't agree with me, how about prenuptial agreements?

I have watched several episodes of her show, and I think the legal reasoning is somewhat shaky. Sometimes, she seems to make decisions based on outside issues that have little to do with the case. I realize that she is an arbitrator, not a judge, but I understand that they are both required to interpret the law in the same way. However, since I am not an attorney, I would like to hear what qualified lawyers have to say about this. If you are knowledgeable about trials of this nature, please respond. If these cases were heard in a regular small claims or family court, would most of them be decided the same way?

I saw a program on t.v. the other night that covered the story of a serial killer. This guy had a house called the killing fields because they found 25 different human bones. Some of them where identified some where not. Anyway he fled to Canada and was arrested on an unrelated charge. When the United States try to extradict him to face these herrendous crimes it took 13 years.Because Canada doesn`t believe in the death penalty.
I would expect that from Mexico but Canada? It made me wonder how friendly are our neighbors to the north?

In the case of the stripper and the duke lacrosse player. Do you think that there is any element of truth to the womans story? or do you think that the players are 100 percent innocent?

I would like to see it go to trial because I want to know the full story and if the woman is lying, I am sure that it would be reveal in cross examination. I dont think that the men assaulted her but I also do not believe in their complete innocence either. I do believe that there was some malicious intent when they invited a black stripper to their party and then proceed to hurl racial slurs at the woman/

Like Wal-Mart or Best Buy, if the door alarm beeps when you walk out the store, do you have to come back inside? What is store security stops you and demands to check your bags? Do you have to let them? The other day Best Buy alarm went off and the security followed me outside and I didn't look back and waived my hand and said I don't want to back in and have my bags checked. I got in my car and left. Everyone was staring.
