For some reason, I've noticed that a vast majority of men seem to be anti-abortion. (Not that they'll ever be faced with being pregnant- the father could walk away any time he wanted to) What do you think?

Its hardly the womans fault that she got pregnant- after all, it takes two, and you could have chosen to use a condom!

Sorry if that came off as sexist- let me rephrase. The vast majority of the men I've talked to about it are anti-abortion. Not men in general, apparently.

I think it is a woman's choice! It's her body and no man, politician, or male prostitute customer / evangelist should have any say so on it!

I think that the Supreme Court Justices should stop lying about the Constitution and claiming that the document protects the "right" to have abortions. It is a subject that states are supposed to be permitted to regulate any way they want and to even ban to any degree they want. I think that all of the Supreme Court Justices in 1973 were men, and there are many men who do support abortion rights, just like there are many women who oppose it, so to label opposition to abortion a problem of masculinity is blatantly reverse sexism.
Now, if and when Roe v. Wade gets overturned, I'd be willing to support legalized abortion before fetal viability. I'd be willing to do this because -- contrary to sexist assumption what "most" men are like -- I can empathize with what women are going through when they have an unwanted pregnancy.
But I will never back off or give up my view that Roe v. Wade was not a legitimate interpretation of the Constitution.

Many polls show that a higher percentage of women than men are anti-abortion.
Many men see it as a godsend! Chris Rock included a joke in his routine about picking up women at abortion rights rallies, for guaranteed responsibility-free sex.
No woman has ever had an abortion because of me.

I think it is poor form of birth control, there are so many options to this. However, I do not think it is any of my business nor do I want the government involved in a moral decision, it must be a very difficult decision to make as the baby is your blood. I am not sure how I feel about the father but he should have some say in it also, I think. It is his blood also. For a father that is willing to take on the responsibility of raising a child I am not sure the decision ought to be left up to only the mother. In cases of rape or incest, I think it should be up to only the mother.

I accept as true with 'SO overjoyed' once you're professional decision, it would not propose which you cheer on abortion. It skill which you help the alternative. You help particular and NO. i've got self assurance like a number of human beings merely forget that. I help the call of abortion because of the fact it extremely is the girl's physique. The fetus is depended on the mum, meaning it affecting her wellbeing, and ect.. If the fetus could desire to stay independantly from day a million, than i could exchange my ideas. yet till we create such technologies, i help the splendid to an abortion.

I support Abortion of a woman. I believe a woman has to be ready financially and emotionally to have a child. Mistakes happen and there are way too many unwanted kids. For me adoption and having children will be likely for me. A fetus is still connected to a womans body and us men can't make any choices for them or force them into something they will regret. Its just sick that countries ban abortion where women are having unhealthy abortions burning thier insides and sometimes even causing death.
Rare, safe and legal is my answer.

I am a 44 year old male father of two for me and my x wife abortion was never discussed "we wanted our kids and still love them to this day" yes i am ant-abortion except in extreme cases there are to many people in this world that are willing to adopt these days as was back in my day so "if" we did not want our kids we would have given them for adoption that would have been the only other option for us!

I think that abortion should be legal, but a hell of a lot rarer than it is. Too many women use it just as an "uh oh" retroactive birth control method...when there are SO MANY other and better contraceptive methods.
And I hate to see a potential innocent life just obliterated (if not murdered) just for the convenience of a woman who was too trifling sorry to either use birth control herself, or force a guy to wear a condom when he crams his pecker in her.

Guys can't "walk away" from their kids in California and several other states if they have to pay child support. As long as women have abortion, I don't think guys should have to pay child support for kids they might never see. Women could use abortion to help prevent a guy from having children.

im pro choice, i feel if an accident happens then i am so fortunate that there is an alternative, and those that oppose abortion apparently arent raising babies at the age of 50 when their kids make the mistake and get pregnant, what i do is my business, those that dont like it, have no say, because it doesnt affect them in the least, so they should pay attention to there own business and a little less to mine,,good day to you

Abortion is wrong in my opinion But only in obvious cases such as, rape, incest, molestation etc. but just to steal a life before it even has a chance to experience life and the possibility that life can have on the human race as a whole, i wouldn't have the courage to nor would i fathom playing god. That's a man perspective indeed.
