If a child tells a judge or police officer (the one standing in the courtroom who did take part in that conversation)that a parent forces them to drive on public roads is that officer or judge obligated to investigate further, see that charges are pressed or anything else that they would have to do?
Just FYI, the child is 12 years old. We live in Florida and here it is a petty misdemeanor to ALLOW a minor to drive on public roads. She wasn't ALLOWED to she was TOLD to and not given any other option except the obvious refusal which would have led to punishment. As a person in authority over her doesn't that make it force?
Thank you for anyone who takes the time to answer this from a legal aspect or even with a personal opinion.

When My husband and myself went to file taxes we asked for a rapid refund. What happened is it kicked backed and said I owed a fms which was aafes I had no idea it was in collections we did move and I had been paying them 20 bucks a month but the account was closed I never got a letter. I have to pay them the 900.00 dollars I owe them. Which is no big deal but can my hubby amend his taxes and do married filiing sperarte then i can go and pay the debt on my owe. Or since we owe a fms does it take longer to get are taxes we filed through jackson hewitt which have not been helpful at all. he said it still should come back in 8 days since we file it electronical just wondering nicole

If someone was caught with 2 spliffs in their pocket 10 years ago (1997) went to court and received a very small fine does this person still have to disclose this offence when applying for a new job? Will it show up on an enhanced disclosure search? Or is this person stuffed for life for a silly mistake they made years ago?

Other day it appeared that Vagela said in public meeting that the credit goes to Rajiv Gandhi and not to that donkey (Gadha). No gentle man should use such words publicly. Vaghela was with same political party. Left it as he could not got his work done i.e could not get important post). Found a new party and askd people to vote for the party saying that like others, he does not have high commond at Delhi but people of Gujarat are his high commond. At present holding appron of Congress, become a minister. Anyway, he should not use such language. What do you feel?

I have a doubt, where I work at we have chaned from one company to another and now another name, they are supposedly going to cease operations this year, and my doubt is if they were supposed to pay us severance from the ther company we used to be, because people at work rumor about that! is there a lay that obligates them to pay us severance? they said one in a all employee meeting that they aren't obligated to do so, that that is if they want to!

We prepared medical evidence, genealogical evidence, had witnesses ready to go -- everything --for the adversary hearing we were told we had a "right" to. When we show up with all the aforementioned 'ammo,' we are told that it was now only a 'status hearing,' and that no witnesses could be called and no statements could be made to the court. What is most upsetting is that all this evidence goes against CPS and the conservators of my nephews, who have consistently denied medical testing and treatment for months for a genetic disease which I have, which could kill them, and which the oldest boy is already showing symptoms of. The lawyer is no help, either. Is this right? How did this happen? What can we do to make sure we get heard? Two beautiful boys' lives depend on this.

It sound pretty unlawful to me but I see many people do it over the Internet. They scan books, encode songs and distribute them. Also they say "anyone who download this file must own the actual book/CD, otherwise you have to delete the file within 24 hours".

Well, those distributors are surely not copyright holders. Do they have the right to do this? Is there really this kind of law exist? (It would be great if someone could show me links to legal documents related to this.)

or is it just a coincidence that while he was there this 'so called' race bullying occured on a t.v show only the saddest people on earth would ever want to watch let alone be on?? I ask the question because suddenly there were over 10,000 calls to complain. I can't believe that 10,000 even watched it let alone had the intelligence to work out what was going on!! The only conclusion I can make is that Gordon was sponsored by 'vodaphone and took 10,000 mobiles with him, after all the 'victim' is worshipped by the Indian public!!
