Someone somewhere on the floor of my apartment building is smoking cigarettes in their unit and it is filling the hallway AND my own unit with cigarette smoke.

I get the worst headaches from cigarette smoke and plus its like..... Just because you want lung cancer doesnt mean I do..... You can stop smoking but I cant stop breathing.

So I was just wondering if it is illegal to do this and if it is something I can call the landlord or police about?

Does it ever expire? There's no expiration date on my eggnogg (leftover from Christmas). It still tastes good. If I got sick, could I sue the company because there was no expiration date? It would be pretty hard to connect the sickness with the eggnogg, though, wouldn't it?

I've looked at this issue from all directions, and for the life of me, I cannot figure out why George Bush and his Attorney General prosecuted this case!

It boggles the mind.

I have decided that I want to attend the Ontario Police College. I have checked there official site but they don't tell you exactly what you do there. Classes, physical fitness, testing?
I would like to know as a single mom because I can't afford to waste $7500 if I can't complete the requirements. Also I don't want to let my kids down.
So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Endless google searches proved to be futile.

I cannot find any state (florida) or federal statutes which would suggest that constructing your own space craft in your back yard and launching yourself in to outer space would be illegal.

Any thoughts?

Since the levees broke the residents of the Lower 9 have been told that the state of their propertie was far worse than everyone elses in N. Orleans, and have been fighting to rebuild their community, fighting the city of New Orleans all the way to do so.

I personally believe that this information was know for atleast a number of months by the Powers that be in New Orleans. However, they have been slow to accomadate the residents of the Lower 9 for two key reasons.

1. The prevention of a large number of African Americans and poor people returning to New Orleans to reclaim their property. If the residents do not come back it will change the political landscape of New Orleans.
2. The home owners in the Lower 9 before Katrina were recieving offers to buy their land often. It would be prime real estate for Commerical buildings. As soon as people began to return to New Orleans the signs went up all over New Orleasn but especially in the Lower 9 of offers to buy their homes.

Two border agents who are now serving time in prison for trying to arrest a drug smuggler? The piece of garbage drug smuggler (who i will from now on only call garbage and trash) attacked one of the agents, the other agent shot him in the butt. The garbage somehow esecapes and runs across the border into Mexico. Now the agents are in federal prison. The piece of garbage is living it up, received a full pardon for his crime. Not only that the Trash was busted not long afterwards smuggling drugs again and was once again given a full pardon.
President Bush has been asked by many members of congress, many members of his own republican party to pardon these men and refuses to do so.
Bush has pardoned over 100 people since taken office. Many of which were convicted of drug smuggling/dealing. How on earth can anyone take Bushs talk of keeping America safe seriously when he takes the side of garbage over our border patrol agents?

I personally think its some end time stuff about to go down!! Like the mark of the beast-- Gods people wont be able to buy or sell unless they accept the Mark of the beast!!!! I think the stage is being set up for the final tribulation!! Jesus is coming sooner than we think!!!!!!!!!!! In our lifetime!!!!!!!!!

In addition to this.. The stage is being set up for a Sunday law!! Europe is officially changing calendar from Sunday thru Saturday to Monday thru Sunday!!!! The bible Sabbath falls on our Saturday-- the little horn will think to change the times and the laws-- We ought ot obey God rather than men.. The Sabbath is the sign of Gods Creatorship NOT the day of worship to the pagan sun god!! (ever wonder why its called Sun- day? ) Ever wonder why christians worship on the first day instead of the 7th like God commanded?? go to this site!! Gods command never changed!!

I asked for hot water at a local sandwich place to warm up formula for my baby. They fill up the coffee cup with hot water up to the half cup as per my request. When I went back to the table with cup and put the bottler in overflew and burnt my hand. It turned really red and gave me blisters. Next day, i went to the doc and was told that it was 2nd degree burnt. Can I hold the store responsible for it? I contacted them and they said it was provided per my request and that I was warned about it being hot. I was not charged for it.

I totaled a friends car about a year ago. Needless to say we're no longer friends. the car was worth only 8k dollars but has an outstanding loan of nearly 10k. Unfortunately it had no collision insurrance. I had asked him a number of times whether the car was fully insured and he always insisted that it had everthing it needed. Dont cars with loans on them need collision? Illinois Here. Anyway what are my obligations, he's threatening small claims court because im not willing to pay for it. He hasnt told the loan company about the accident and the car was sold to a junkyard right after the accident.

His liability took care of the damage to the other car but since there was no collission i guess he's **** out of luck on his end.

I am 14, I have a passport, I am an American citizen, (by birth), I have been once before, I am going primarily to England, but my father, who hasn't spoken with me in 2 years, or paid child support in 2 months, will try to stop me, he won't let my step dad adopt, and frankly I hate the bastard, he's a crack head, so can I go without his permission, or do i have to have it, or what can I do to go? I have a kick @ss attorney, he can't afford one, so money isn't the issue.

I have been arrested for ABH. I got into a fight when 2 bouncers tried to eject me from a club without warning. I was standing not saying or doing anything (but was drunk) while a friend was arguing talking to the manager about entry to the club. They grabbed me from behind and the side by the arms and neck. I bit their hands as we struggled trying to get them to let go, the wounds were quite deep (I am told they needed stitches). If I am charged I am going to argue self defence and go to the Crown Court (there is an independent witness who corroborates that I was standing still and not saying anything and who has given a statement saying that the bouncers acted way over ). However I am worried if the case goes against me what the likely sentence might be. A friend of mine who is a barrister thinks that community service would be most likely abut I am aware that the entry point for ABH sentencing is custody. I have 1 previous police caution for common assault that happened 3.5 years ag
