I'm just going to use Immanuel Kant on this one. Since he theorized that it's our moral duty to obey the law, we should just follow that as best we can. It's such a general question though. If you want to know more about ethics you should just go to google.com and type in three different ethics for diverse applications. That will give you a better understanding.

crush all ideas of a republican in office in 08.
focus on alternative fuels in a cost efficient manor
increase healthcare and min wage.
cap cost of living increases.
