Does it ever expire? There's no expiration date on my eggnogg (leftover from Christmas). It still tastes good. If I got sick, could I sue the company because there was no expiration date? It would be pretty hard to connect the sickness with the eggnogg, though, wouldn't it?

It will go rotten eventually, but it is filled with so much sugar and other chemicals and preservatives that it takes a long time to break down. Also, most commercial eggnog does not contain eggs, but has colour added to make it look that way. Try making your own with 1 cup of milk, sugar to taste, 2 eggs, 6 ice cubes and 1/4 tsp nutmeg.much better for you. blend in a blender or food processor until smooth (yea yea i know all about salmonella being cause by raw eggs, but that is very rare)

Considering its a milk and egg based product, it does expire, and expires quickly. It is also required to have an expiration date on it. If it does not, I would contact the company you purchased it from.

There should be an expiration date on it. If it is a carton of eggnog that was in the dairy case, probably yours is no longer any good, and I'd toss it. It also comes in a can and sits on a shelf. If it has recently been opened, it is good, otherwise, toss it.

There should be an expiration date. The last carton I got - around boxing day - said "best before Jan. 7th"
