Endless google searches proved to be futile.

I cannot find any state (florida) or federal statutes which would suggest that constructing your own space craft in your back yard and launching yourself in to outer space would be illegal.

Any thoughts?

Building it is probably legal. Launching it would probably violate laws regarding use of airspace.

the faa would probably have a problem with it if you didn't get clearance or an approved flight plan. i think this is an excellent idea though. do private company's launch in the US? like for instance who launchs GPS satelittes? any who, good luck and i hope you're really, really, really good at math and engineering.

ya you're outstanding. yet we too have plane factors production companies in India. and we are coming as much as make an plane to be arranged totally in India. already we've geared up 2 aircrafts on our very own.
