have to do a essay on how Mr.Smith Goes to Washington"1932. How does this movie use Political Power and the use of special intrest money??? Not a re-telling of the movie but an INSIGHT...i reallyy need to know how they use it in the movie..thanks (ive seen the movie, but it was confusing to me...)

What was confusing, an idealistic Jimmy Stewart tries to change the system through sincerity. In 1932, when the country was in the depths of the Great Depression, the movie may have expressed hope for political change rather than more radical alternatives that were gaining ground on the left and the right around the world. Political power and special interest money? Don't remember, but they seem like trees in the forest.
