I'm glad my question spawned one of your own.
The man was given a choice- he chose to have sex with the mother of his child, and chose not to use protection.. knowing full well that she could become pregnant. He chose to take the risk that she could get pregnant, and he's responsible for the outcome. After all, its pretty hard to rape a guy, isn't it?
Now, on the flipside. If the woman lied about being on birth control, or somehow contrived to knowingly get pregnant, then he isn't responsible for it. That was her choice, and its no better then if he had raped her to get her pregnant.

Gotta know who the daddy is.
If you don't like abortions than don't get one. You're fighting a lost cause. Why don't you go try to take the mandatory out of abortion in China or something.
They don't want the dad for the kid they want the dad for child support. A: A father with kids living at home happily with the wife is child support, and B: You try to defend the children by saying abortion is killing a life, but then you complain that a child has a no good father that doesn't want to support a kid... Then you would agree to a father not paying child support? Hmmmmm seems like you really care for children. A mother with a child is going to need support. It looks like you're beating your own kind up. You're complaining about a person who'd rather not have an abortion. Your testimony sucks.

It is not about choice! It is however about responsibility. What do you mean the girl gets to choose. Both people make the choice by not using protection, and having intercourse. If you the persons were responsible they would make the choice before hand by using protection or just not having intercourse in the first place. Getting pregnant is a great responsibility. It is real, It is a person, It is a lifetime job, from beginning to end. The Choice Is To Be Made Ahead Of Time.Be Responsible!

I really am not sure how I feel about it, as is said, it is the woman that has to carry the baby to term but the for the man it is his blood to, this is a very good but complex question. If the father of the baby is willing to either support the baby or take the baby to raise I wonder why his wishes do not count. But then again it is the woman's body. See I told you this was a tough question to answer.

i think if an unexpected pregnancy happens between unmarried persons and they disagree with having an abortion or not then one or the other should take all responsibility...for example...if the woman wants the abortion but the man does not...he should take care of all medical bills and other stuff while she is pregnant...after delivery she has nothing to do with it...so it because a huge financial burden for him from beginning to end...if the woman wants it and not the man then the woman take all responsibility...i think the baby's life should be most important rather than "choice" if they both agree to have an abortion then i suppose abortion is the next step...

I think that it could be solved fair and square one of the parents should sign way their parental rights. If he doesn't want to pay for the child, he should sign the paper. On the flip side of that coin, if the couple discussed not getting pregnant and she went behind his back and quit taking the pill or whatever form of birth control they were using then she would have to pay him for breach of verbal contract. No child support and deal with her responsibilities on her own.

i truly believe that the parent reciving child support should be required to hold a full time job in order to even get child support, unless the parent is disable, and than a minor child draws benefits also

It insects me, too. do not get me incorrect; i'm a lady, and that i evaluate myself to be a feminist (i.e. I help equality for both genders and trust each and every must have the probabilities accessible to them that the different have). notwithstanding, i in my opinion see a pair of issues taking position in the present day, both one among them really insidious. the first is that "gender equality" is without delay being replaced with "woman supremacy" and honestly, no, women human beings do not have the probabilities adult males have anymore; they have extra. a lady can sperm-jack a guy, fall pregnant consisting of his infant, deny him significant involvement contained in the childs existence, and pump him for 18+ years of kid help. a lady won't be able to be charged (a minimum of right here contained in the united kingdom) for raping a guy; she will in user-friendly words ever be charged with sexual attack. a lady receives widely used interest in kinfolk violence circumstances even although adult males make up about 40% of kinfolk abuse victims, or perhaps although a million/3 of sexual violence victims are male, in user-friendly words a million/10 sexual violence help communities enable male attendants. So no, i do not see gender equality contained in the country, and is p!sses me off. the second one is very almost as undesirable, and women human beings in user-friendly words really have themselves responsible for it; a lengthy time period of stomping our ft and annoying regulations that help our equivalent rights has truly produced a rustic the position women human beings are given criminal and social priority, as suggested above...yet many women human beings have truly develop into spoiled little youngsters being continuously indulged. If a lady gropes a male stripper, he's anticipated to snigger it off. If a guy gropes a lady stripper, he negative aspects a penal complicated sentence. that is arbitrary to adult males, effective, notwithstanding that's more advantageous than that; it sends a message about women human beings. that announces, "the guy can, and could, protect himself; the female is weak and helpless, and needs male bouncers and the criminal gadget to guard her from the tremendous undesirable guy." It would not do women human beings any strong contained in the destiny because that's no longer honestly preparation all of us to appreciate women human beings; that's preparation women human beings to stomp their ft and make demands and conceal in the back of legislations somewhat than manning the f*ck up and gaining knowledge of to cope with their issues. So, yeah, i'm on board with you there.
