Instead of CREATING them by the constant partisan bickering.

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION - easy - stop it - it is against the law - can you all agree on that?

access to affordable birth control, social programs to help poor mothers, expanded adoption/foster opportunities? This is not a taunt, I am just curious to how you feel about the supply side of abortions, rather than just the demand side. How many of you pro-lifers out there have an adopted kid or a foster child? I don't hear many pro-lifers offering solutions, only judgement. Give me some hope, please.

my boyfriend was in a car accident at a 4 way. he stopped and waited like your supposed to the started going. he saw the lady coming and figured she'd stop. well she didnt and bashed right into him. it was a 93 year old woman. the police man cited the lady but told him that she could turn it around and say he waved her to go when they were both stopped and went anyway to cause an accident. but you can tell by the horrible damage on the passenger side of his car that she was going at least 35 mph. would they really believe her over him even tho the damage to his car? she had damage to the same side of her car but in the front. we dont wanna pay for something thats not his fault!!

Sour Grapes, that seemed to be justified, but now that the Dems won the Mid term, and we who voted against it speak our mind and opinions about it, it is called sour grapes, but in 04, complains against it was not sour grapes.
So I guess you can but we cannot.
yes or no?

The Dems are capabable of carrying out the slaughter of fellow American citizens....at Waco & Ruby Ridge

Now they want to "cut & run" in the war on terror...

They are always working to dis-arm the American public...

Who's side are they on???

ruining America's families. It is the conservative's fiscal/social policies that don't help people out who need help. Not every family has the luxury to have a stay at home parent with inflation and the mass of low paying jobs. My mother had to work, and I admire her for that, she had to do what she had to do. She divorced an abusive man, and had to stand on her own. I appreciate all she has done for me w/ what little resources she had. Sure, I'd love it if all moms got to stay home, however, it is a luxury--and out of the reach of most people. Do you agree or disagree?

First of all I'm not in any history class this is for my own enjoyment

I think what I’ll find is that most people think the north were the "good guys" and the south were the "bad guys"

The war was NOT started over slavery. It was started over economical and political differences. It officially began when the north sent troops to invade Virginia. The only reason Abraham Lincoln had enough political traction to free the slaves was to further disrupt the economy of the south. I’m sure he did it for pure reasons but he wouldn’t have been allowed to do such a thing had it not been for the already existent conflict.

I guess my question is two.

1 What is the point of inaccurate history books and lessons?
2 Why do you think the civil war really happened, tell where you learned about it?

History taken in high school is next to worthless IMO.

since 20% are done for economic reasons (that is , one is more likely to chose abortion is economy is bad, no health care or underinsured or health care & gas etc expensive, & no jobs or working 2 or 3 low paying jobs etc) so more lives are saved via democractic social programs which is the saving of 880 unborn babies a day (statistic bear this out as abortions were at the highest since Roe v Wade and lowest under Clinton.).

More unborn babies are saved from democratic policies than republican rhetoric (talking).
My brother agreed reps do nothing about abortion except talk & said he was thinking of voting dem this time (as he is fed uop with Bush & Taft (voted worst gov in all the states with 17% approval) yet in the end voted straight rep.
I'm wondering why? What are the real reasons he sticks stubbornly with this party. I suspect it's go something 2 do with money more than values as he'ds always loved money in my opinion. What could his reasons be & what are reasons of most men

MR. SIEGEL: Have you seen the DeWine race and the Santorum race and -- I don't want to --

MR. ROVE: Yeah. Look, I'm looking at all these Robert and adding them up. And I add up to a Republican Senate and a Republican House. You may end up with a different math, but you're entitled to your math. I'm entitled to "the" math.

MR. SIEGEL: I don't know if you're entitled to a different math, but you're certainly entitled to --

MR. ROVE: I said you were entitled to yours.

By the way. DeWine and Santorum both lost.

I live in a student apartment complex. Last year I could play my music and it didn't even matter. This year I have new neighbors who live below me. I'm pretty respectful but latley my music has not been loud and they knock on my door yelling at me. I told them yesterday I refuse to lower the music. She then called the cops and they said to just lower it so they dont have to do anything. This is ridicoulous. I feel like I can't play music in my own house what should I do?

Considering democrats have more power now i think the economy is in danger. Bush has done a excellent job with the economy with the unemployment at an all time low and homeownership at an all time high. Bush is a humanitarian as well giving 13billion dollars to pakistani orphans.

Bush did not authorize the war, congress did. Almost all the Dems voted for it (because it was popular in the polls). Congress authorized it because they saw the exact same intel as Bush did which was produced by the CIA.
