Or is the US the only one that offers abortion on demand to the woman who can pay for it? With the Supreme Court looking at the ban on partial birth abortion, I was just wondering if European countries have laws limiting abortion.

I reckon if we hanged child molesters and violent criminals, rapists etc, and charged £20 for people to watch, we'd solve the national debt and create space in our prisons for pensioners that dont pay their council tax. What say you?

I've looked high and low and cannot locate any websites that explain what the requirements are.

Anyone know if such a site exists? Thank you.

I've never seen this answered anywhere...why do judges use a gavel in court? I mean, what is the origin of it? Does it come from the Roman fascii or perhaps the kings sceptre?

There is a local woman here who alledgedly has murdered serveral times and gotten by with it. I know for a fact she is a thief. The people she aledgedly murdered were her husband and two sons for the insurance, and she has reportedly knocked off people who owed her money. She is a monster. She alledgedly had an old lady's arm broke so she would sign her will over to her. I think the city and county police are afraid of her and will not investigate her. She lived in Terlingua, Tx when her husband comitted suicide ( a gun shot to the back of the head) Alledgedly, she was having an affair with the sheirff there. Her husband was cremated in hours of his death. These are just a few things she has done. She cheated her own daughter out of her inheritence.

I am a democrat and for a long time would have supported Clinton. Her actions over the last year and a half have started to make me really distrust her. I am not saying I would vote republican or anything, but I might consider someone else.

I hear alot of good things about Oboma. I think Ed Rendell might make a good candidate as well.

We free up the military to do other important jobs. I am one of those contractors. I am exposed to the same hostile fire as they are but I don't not see anyone saying support the contractor.
I am retired from the Army as well and was over here in Iraqi Freedom 1 and 2. We work 7 days a week 12 hour days to support them.

I voted democratic because I am a democrat. I don't think we need a hasty withdrawal. Most fellow Americans that I talk to want a reduced presence and a new strategy for the region. I think a withdrawal too quickly would be disastrous in the long run.

My brother is a Marine in Iraq, and he feels the same way.

I am democratric and while I am pleased at the outcome in both the Senate and House, I am actually more afraid.

Im afraid because when you look at the numbers overall, the entire country is divided and that cant be good for international relations.
Dems have 229/435 = approximately 53%
Dems have 49/100=49%,
Independents have 2/100=2%--->which means they could swing either way even though the Independent candidates have stated they would caucus with the Dems

Reps have 49/100=49%

It is almost like we have been and still are in an internal 'cold war' if you will.....Is it just me ?
