Everyone is angry with immigrants but what about the companies shipping all thier operations to Asia because its cheaper? And what about the American government shipping materials to these new operations? If a corporation came to your small town, ruined the land, air, and water, then took everyone's jobs and shipped them to another country leaving you and your community screwed (like every major electronics manufacturer has done to Mexico), wouldn't you try to move to another country too?

This is an honest question and I am seeking an honest answer. It isn't an attempt to bash Rebublicans, Democrats, Independents or any party affiliation, so please don't.

You are walking home from work one evening and are attacked from behind. Your attacker doesn't take your wallet or purse and run, they want to beat and then kill you.

Someone passes by and you scream and beg for help. Of course, we would hope that anyone would help but this isn't always the case. Taking into consideration political parties and what they represent, which party do you hope that this person is and why?

If you cannot compare lifes issues in this manner, no problem - don't answer. If you can, I'd like to hear your answer.

Rummy's quitting as a result of the recent election seems similar in ways to the way his earlier boss Nixon decided to resign as the President.

Did Rummy quit because he figured his chances of being removed by Senate hearings were too great? Isn't he and his boss the same people who talked of others wanting to "cut and run"?

Isn't it strange that he, in essence, decided to cut and run himself?

So, does that make Rumsfeld a coward in a way?

What do you think of all of this?

And suppose that the same thing happened to the bankers in the Bank of London. And after a big trial, all the elite bankers were executed.

Would the economy suffer for it, or would somebody else just step up and take over the money manipulator's role? If so, who would the replacements be?

I think we will be an islamic nation now since the spineless democrats are in power. They will bring the war into us soil. Afganisthan and the iraqis will sail their ships/camels/flying carpets or what ever they have in to us soil and they will force us to become islamic. Shame on you liberals and democrats. It should be illegal to vote democrat.

I am simply wondering if anyone thinks he'll take up a cause like Clinton and Bush Sr. did, go back into business, simply retire... What do you think he'll do after 08?

Why is it that Democrats use the term neocon so freely while referring to Republicans? If you research the subject, you will see where the term originated. The prefix neo- refers to two ways in which neoconservatism was new. First, many of the movement's founders, originally liberals, Democrats or from socialist backgrounds, were new to conservatism.
I got this from Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neocon) and other recources.

One quote from Wiki: Irving Kristol remarked that a neoconservative is a "liberal mugged by reality," one who became more conservative after seeing the results of liberal policies.

ok, I have 4 kids with my bf of 8 years. He was on house arrest for drinking while on probation. He did not come home for like 10 days. They eventually got him and he just recently went to jail. (the reason he didnt come home was he got a ride to his DUI classes with a fellow classmate that didnt take him) so he paniacked and hide for 10 days. Anyway. I was wondering if anyone knew how long he could get in jail for these charges. It is kinda like an escape charge. I am just really upset. I am 25 and now a sinlge mom of 4 kids all 5 and under. I just need to get an idea of my future. Thanks for any advice!
