No one believes we evolved from monkeys. Evolution says we evolved from a common ancestor to monkeys. And they believe it because all the science tells us that is what happened.

Where, in the Bible, does it state how long Gods day is? On Earth, the day is 24 hours. How long is it in Heaven? How long does it take for Heaven to make a complete rotation? Yes, I believe in evolution and the Bible. "God made the wild animals of the earth of every kind, and the cattle of every kind, and everything that creeps upon the ground of every kind. And God saw that it was good." That was day 5. On day 6, God created man. The Bible does not say he created man from nothingness. It is entirely possible he transformed the closest thing, a monkey, over the course of millions of years (or a day in Heaven)

Not all liberals believe strictly in evolution. Many are quite religious (some in my own extended family) who believe in creation, while not ignoring evolution. For that matter, I'm sure there are conservatives who do not believe in creation either-- have you considered that?
I personally believe, as does the Catholic church, that both can coexist and they are not totally at odds with each other.
Many biblical scholars and rationale people don't take all the Bible literally. Some is historic in nature and some is allegory.
Given Genesis was written thousands of years ago, a time with little scientific knowledge, how do you know that the inspiration wasn't purposely written in such a way as to make it easier to understand by people of that time?
There are tons of inconsitencies in the Bible.
All that said, you're free to belive what you want..doesn't make it right or rationale or logical.

the bible is true because it says its true because God SAYS ITS TRUE.
tHAT MUST BE WHY I WAS BORN WITH AN ANALYTICAL MIND.Just like everyone else.So I can accept anything that is told to me by some guy named Paul who went to DAMascus.
The evidence for Christ actually surviving the crucifixion is overwhelming.But I should discard this evidence as it is the work of the devil.
Examples of evolution have been and are repeatedly found in species with generations that are very short.It is irrefutable in these cases and fact.......not theory

Have you read the so called Bible first book: Genesis? Well, there it talks about the creation of Adam and Eve, correct?
Well, if you read what Cain did after killing his brother Abel, you will find out that only Jews were created then! Thus, if you are not a Jew, your ancestors existed before the creation of Adam and Eve! Read it carefully!
Thus, if someone was evolved, does not mean he/ she was evolved from monkeys but people of superior class than Adam and Eve. Further, being older that them, the other people are of much higher value.

You're generalizing and don't have the facts.
Religion and scientific fact are two different things. The Bible is religion and was written in ancient times before the proof of evolution. Scientific proof shows evolution.
I'm a Christian and believe in both.

Why do you assume that all liberals are evolutionists? Why do you assume that the Bible is completely factual? Everyone has their views and have a right to believe in what they want to believe in - even you.
