After watching the election results I was apalled at the headlines proclaiming that the democrats "control" the house. WHy do they have to control anything? Shouldn't the country's well being supersede any sibling rivalries between the two dominant parties? I think they should all grow up and start working together to solve this country's problems instead of put the other party down. Does anyone else have any ideas on this?

If the Dems had lost, they could have blamed everything on the Republicans since they controlled the White House and Congress.
Now the Republicans could have fodder since any gridlock, inactivity, lack of progress, etc would give them a boost in 08.
