This is not just an election thing for me.Daily I watch "the Span" and I read articles from various international papers. I like talk radio, left talk radio that is. I just feel weird, I have no other girl friends that love or even like politics. My friends love gossip and drama. I'm I totally weird? Do I need to go back to college just to have friends that enjoy discussing world issues and politics? Men love to talk politics with me but most women tune out when I bring it up. What's the deal? ya know? Is this normal for you?

Y'all must be very young, because for decades the Dems controlled the house and the Senate. What was accomplished in the past by this nirvana? What do you think will be magically created by a power hungry group now that the power has been acquired? My hunch is that nothing will be done.

First of all, if you're gonna say some bullcrap about how much you hate Hillary, save it, I've heard it ALL before.

Now, this is assuming that she DOES choose to run in '08 and wins the Dem primary. Who should she select as a mate for VP? (from the following list):

* Sen John McCain
* Sen Barak Obama
* Nancy Pelosi

What do you guys think? I think that any of these would be an explosive, and workable, combination!

If American's dying in the Iraq desert is only repeatation of US's historical blunders and crave for war. US is not the world police to keep peace in the world.

I think people should take personal responsibility for themselves and not have sex before marriage. Have we gone so far that we do not care about our actions?

Or do you care or have any feelings about it at all? I am curious because I watched a public television show that expressed a lot of opinions from Europeans about our country and so many said they didn't hate Americans, but they did detest Bush. Also they were asking how could we have re-elected him in 2004. Just wondering about the feelings over there toward this election. It's a huge change for us but does it make any of you feel differently about us right now?

Let's say a woman commits a crime and is sentenced to jail. She finds out that she is pregnant shortly before her sentencing. What happens? Does she go in jail and carry the baby to term while in prison? What happens to the baby once born? Does she retain any maternal rights?

GOP is losing seats in the Midwest, Northeast, Intermountain west by playing the Christian card too much. Think by 2008 GOP will wise up and bring in polticitans that are more moderate and not be a slave to the teo-con wing of the party, Or Democrats since thier not as curropted by god talk, but the tax issuses I dont agree with or gun control

Ten points to the first wackjob pretend "liberal" who will admit it.

Otherwise, the ten points will go to someone who can demonstrate an IQ over 100.

08 could prove to be a very tough race. Especially if McCain is the Republican nomination. Honestly, he's the only Republican I like. If Georgie's brother Jeb gets the nod, I believe it will be pretty easy race to win. Just curious as to what you think about it. Let's try to keep any racist comments or gender bashing to a minimum please. Thanks.

My friend who I have known for ages has just been arrested for serious charges, and I just can't believe he would do anything like that, but everyone says that the army changes people. SO can it really change people that quickly, 2 years. Sorry if this doesn't make sense, can't relly say what he has been accused of doing.

I believe in God! But its stuff like this that makes me utterly ill! Its acts like this that can have a huge impact on Christianity. Sometimes I think when men assume a position of authority in a church they don't realize how big of an example they are to the public. I really feel sorry for his family! This is an insult to the kingdom of God. I say that because all of the potential that that man had to reach out to the world has been discarded. Now he is rendered useless. Useless because nobody will ever listen to him. When a man of God makes a mistake like that, its like wadding up everything he has been given and throwing it in the garbage! I see Dave Mustaine (of the band Megadeth) as a better example of true Christianity than nearly all of these politicians. And Megadeth is a great band!!! Dave became a Christian in 2002.

If nothing else, I would love to have her husband back in a position to make some dicisions in the White House. Common sense goes so much farther than ignorance. Clinton did nothing most of the other Presidents didn't do. He just got someone who saw dollar signs afterwards. If the truth were known, it was probably set up by the Repubs.
