The whole system will collapse with these two. They are way to far to the left to get anything accomplished, and the backlash will be that the House and Senate will revert to Republican at the earliest opportunity. What are Democrats thinking?

Please try to answer this quesion without bias. I voted yesterday but I am an undeclared voter. I was asked which party I was and I said What's the difference? and the guy behind me almost choked. So can someone tell me what each party is and what it stands for. And what the heck is the green/rainbow party? Where did they come from?

No matter where one goes there are cameras recording your every move - from banks to main street to highways and retail stores, all in the name of security. Big brother has records on a car's history of speed, were you using your seatbelt etc. No matter what you do, someone must keep a record of it--- why. Airport security - I get frisked everytime because of a medical implant - I sometimes feel like streaking to drive home the point that I am human , did nothing wrong and now I need to be frisked. Everything is done in the name of security - I feel it is done so some of our elite citzens can watch over the rest of us.

i dont mean all of them, but it seems that many are already saying "well, the democrats dont even all agree on what to do in iraq", even though many republicans were voicing how disappointed they were in the direction of the war, among many other topics.

but, isnt the idea of being a democratic country to have different people that can voice different opinions, and they dont need to agree to one way of thinking?

case in point, republicans tend to be anti gay marriage, but dick cheney has a lesbian daughter and supports that gay marriage is a "state by state issue". this is a nice way of him to not come out and say "yes, let my daughter be equal to straight people". no repubs ever question his ideas though.

so, why do they feel the democrats need to all have one way of thinking? this is a serious question, i dont mean it as an insult, i just dont get it. it makes more sense to me to have several different ideas, and make a compromise, than the "cowboy" was of G.W. Bush.

I have gone to a dentist and had x-rays taken. My insurance has paid their part and I have paid mine. I would like a 2nd opinion. Instead of having x-rays taken again, I would like to get the ones I have already had taken. Can my dentist legally charge me for the original copies of the x-rays if they have been paid for through insurance? I am assuming that is what insurance has paid for on top of other services. Am I legally entitled to those original copies?

It is written in history that the illegalization of drugs is based upon racism and government paranoia. We spend BILLIONS a year on this fake war on drugs so we can support big spending government and put people into jail instead of rehab: why not tax it, set up intoxication laws similar to alcohol (oh wait, they are already there!!!)? Of course, what he really meant was that because there will still be a war on terror he plans to continue to work with the congress even though he is on the way out.

I was reading a question in which someone asked for opinions regarding the Dr. in Kansas and the abortion issue.
Someone posted that it was basically BS about him preforming these abortions, that Bill O'Reilly was a liar & a loon, I'm not by any means a fan of Bill O'Reilly.

I disagree with most things he says, but I know for a fact there are Doctors who preform these late term abortions, my sister was 17 and pregnant, the father was an older guy and was adamant that she get an abortion, at 7 months pregnant and even @ 8 months... I'd gotten the name of two of the many clinics (in the city of Detroit) he'd planned on taking her to, I called and warned them that I knew how far along she was, and I'd report them if they harmed that baby in any way, they told me it was the decision of the mother, and I couldn't prove how far along she was or even that they preformed the abortion, they were going to abort the baby, they said they can do it up to 9th month LEGALLY,
