Bush: ...“The enemy is not going away after my presidency.
I look forward to working with them.”

Of course, what he really meant was that because there will still be a war on terror he plans to continue to work with the congress even though he is on the way out.

Or maybe he plans to look for a new job in Iraq??? LOL!!
It was so funny!!! Maybe he should have spent some time in English class when he was in college instead of all of that partying..

What I liked was the questions some of the press asked. There were the usual kiss-ups, but a couple asked questions like "You have been called a liar, a crook, a scum-bag, a puppet, a degenerate creep and a waste of protein. How will you form a working relationship with those people who called you those things?"

Or even better, after saying that the Republican losses had been a surprise, "So are you saying that you are that out of touch with the citizens of the country that you couldn't see this coming?"

Bush did do us a favor though, it was obvious that the Rumsfeld "scape-goat" resignation caught him by surprise. It was several hours later that he had been given a cover story about why he said just a couple of days ago the Rummy would stay as long as he did.

I've said for years that after seeing Clueless George it is easy to understand why his papa likes Dan Quayle.

I have read your question and also your answers. What do you think the world thinks of people like you that think your smarter than God. The election is over. Bush will end his term in 2008 and some one else will take over for you all to criticize. Get on with life and see if you can find some place . . . .some where that you can take a class in compassion. Your compassion is far worse than George Bush's English. This message is for those who are perfect and walk on water and have never partied.

Bush is not the most eloquent speaker but a little common sense on our part lets us know what he actually means, i may not be the biggest Bush supporter but the guy is only human and humans make mistakes.

and the neoCONS had the gall to jump on Kerry's botched joke, twisting his obvious meaning into an insult to the troops. and the neoCON followers went on and on with that misrepresentation for a week

so let's see how Bush's blunder would come out neoCON style ...

"see?! see?! GW Bush loves terrorists. he has no expectation of defeating them and so is planning on working WITH them after he leaves office. why does GW Bush hate America so much?!"

pretty silly, i know but that's exactly what the neoCONS did to Kerry.

In 1993, Obama had an proposal. After having been tortured for years by way of men and women he slowly shaped a hatred for humans. He is quoted as announcing, “I recognise now not everybody is dangerous, however ninety nine% of humans are. I’m hoping this flu saves the one million%.” He dropped out of institution and moved to a faraway field in Oregon. There he labored in this proposal. After he used to be optimistic in what he made, he moved directly to your next step. To switch his disorder into men and women he might need to turn out to be president; as this used to be the one option to break out with it considering that he knew the US executive might preserve him. Now his lengthy in the past proposal is fact---referred to as SWINE FLU.(he secretly thinks of humans as swines) Thank you Mr. President. This is the one option to rid the arena of the dangerous and lesser humans.

No I did not watch it, I know I didn't miss anything, as he states the same things over over again, he stays the course. same stuff over, and over, and over, and over, he wont waiver, faulter, sputter, teeter, tooter, stay the course, and get the evil doers, the axis of evil..guess rummy decided he wasn't gonna stay the course any longer, and jumped ship, or ejected, do a 360 split decisive decision

I agree...he's a terrible speaker. I seen bits and pieces of it today and it was so funny how he was just blown away by the election results.
